The primary bathroom has two vanities, a soaking tub and separate shower. Two spare bedrooms are each equipped with a queen bed. The guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower combo. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, washing machine and dryer. The outdoor patio includes seating for four with an outdoor smart tv.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport
