We had a great time at Jennifer's place and she was very helpful the entire time. The place was close to where we wanted to be and had all of the things we needed. The neighbors were also very nice and actually ended up giving us fresh shrimp they had gotten from the Gulf that day. Really enjoyed our time there and would likely use the house again.

Great stay, very convenient location to walk to the seawall. Everything needed to cook, would stay again.

This is a great place to stay, easy beach access, peaceful, felt like we were at home. I would recommend this to my friends and we will be back next year.

The place was absolutely adorable with eclectic decorations all over. It was fun just to look at all the art and items decorating the house. The hot tub was hot, amazing, and private. Easy distance from great restaurants and the beach. Such a fun place to stay!

Great location, near to beach, restaurants. Small, cozy place good for a couple of night stay. We stayed for 2 nights and with a 3 year old. Eduardo is very responsive and took great care of us. He kept checking if we were in need of anything alert from everything his place already had. We would love to come back next time we are here. Only thing we had trouble with was the noise of the window acs. But that is not a big thing and manageable.

I cannot recommend the place enough. Great location, exactly as advertised and Kathy was so accommodating to our family needs.

Due to a small house fire, we've been relocated as our insurance company does a total home remodel. We've stayed with Sharon and Ben for several months. They've become like family to us and we'll be staying in touch once our home project is complete and we move back home. This is a perfect, cozy, quiet setting in old Alvin proper..... a trip into the past, including family-like neighbors, with whom we've made tamales and shared many hours of laughter and music. The cottage is pristine and well-furnished. The neiborhood is cute and, again, very quiet. This has been a blessing to us in so many ways. We're going to hate moving out!

Sandra's place was so much better than I was expecting. We stayed for two nights and there were four kids and three adults. We had ample sleeping arrangements and seating for dining and lounging. The house is more spacious than it looks online. The ceilings are nice and tall. The dining room is very large. We loved the old house character and all of the seaside decor. It is painted in cheerful colors, which was perfect for a beach getaway. The walk to the beach is short and easy. The beach (in February) wasn't crowded at all. Beautiful, soft, clean sand. Sandra's beds and linens were all nice quality and comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. If given the chance we'd definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at The Peaceful Pearl. What a little GEM!! Totally stocked with more than you could imagine. Such a comfortable and homey stay. We look forward to booking again! Alysha was a most attentive host. Very friendly and helpful. Oh, and AC will freeze you out if you want!

This property was like a home away from home. The property was clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. I was able to make a Christmas dinner here (for three of us) with no problems. Wendy was responsive to all questions and took care of everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again in the future!
