If you are looking for an amazing family retreat on the Eastern Coast then book this house now (if you can!). We cannot recommend it highly enough. We had brilliant communication and advice from Sally prior to arrival with lots of invaluable tips on making our stay better. The house is beautifully designed and immensely comfortable. I have never come across a better equipped kitchen in a B&B before. This is very clearly a family home and lots of love has gone into making it comfortable. Outside is truly special, with the most incredible ocean-front setting. The house is surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides, giving a constant backdrop of waves crashing on the shore. The ocean constantly changes colour mesmerically throughout the day, and is particularly spectacular at sunrise in front the house. The wildlife is amazing; wallabies, possums, eagles, swallows, plovers and cicadas. So much to see and do in the neighbourhood to fill your days - a week is not enough. Book it if you can!!

Dave And Rach's place is the ideal base on the east coast if you want to visit Bay of fires and freycinet, both of which are only a short drive away. They promptly responded to any queries we had and offered great suggestions. Their home is clean and comfortable and has a supermarket right across the road. Bonus was spotting pademelons in the backyard and stargazing at night. 100% would stay here again on my next holiday.

Thank you for hosting us. Very spacious cottage, kids loved the cottage and space around the cottage to ride their kick scooter. Reception staff and Rob are very responsive, attended to the bathroom door issue immediately. Eatery and bar in walking distance. Highly recommend Rob’s place! We will book in next time too when visiting the area.

Very unique, thoughtfully designed house with beautiful views. Warm and cosy with lots to enjoy on the property. We especially loved the feel and usability of the kitchen, enjoyed the outdoor bath and felt inspired by the greenhouse! Thanks for having us :)

Comfortable cottage with everything we needed. The location is ideal for a few days exploring the east coast. Communications with the host was easy.

Nosh is well suited to family get-togethers. We recently stayed with our adult children, and we all had plenty of space (both communal and private). The house is very well equipped, with pretty much everything you could need in a kitchen. There is a very large and open plan living area, including a huge dining room table. This space was well utilised! Spring Beach is beautiful. While there is no view from the house, it is only a short walk away. Nosh is also close to many other lovely beaches and places to visit, and we also liked being a bit closer to Hobart. We were especially grateful to find such a lovely place to stay that is also pet-friendly. Our dog is part of the family, so it was great to stay in a house and area that also welcomes dogs (on lead at most beaches during Summer). We enjoyed our time at Nosh and appreciated Adam and Jayne making us feel welcome (including providing an early check-in and clear directions and general instructions).

This is a wonderful place for either a short stay or longer, including a secure dog area. Perfectly suited our needs. Geoff was approachable and accommodating The house was so easy to keep tidy, everything supplied including great clothes washing facilities and outdoor relaxation spaces. Highly recommended.

Our trip was short and sweet - but we wish we had booked longer! Location and accommodation was simply stunning, couldn't have asked for more. Lots of little touches that made us feel relaxed and in holiday-mode! Thanks for having us!

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .

Billie's place is a top spot for visiting the area. A great location near the township means it's no sweat to leave the car and wander in to get bits and pieces. We enjoyed walking along to get takeaways (Japanese is great!!) and the weekly market is fabulous. Billie's has a nice homely feel and the kitchen has everything for meal prep. No probs with wifi, the speed was better than at home! We live in a quiet remote area and were a bit worried about staying on a main road but honestly it was so quiet even over the long weekend. A great base for exploring the area.

Homely, peaceful, everything you need for the best rest and relax. From the window nook for reading to lazing next to the outdoor fire pit with a wine, we had a lot of fun.

We love Lara's place in Bicheno. This was the second time we stayed in Lara's house. It is a beautiful spot and the house is so well appointed. It all makes for a very relaxing stay!

We have stayed at many places in Derby and this one certainly did not disappoint. We felt warm and cosy from the minute we arrived. We had everything and more that was needed for a relaxing stay. A favourite for us was the proximity to the river (and pretty much everything) and the easiness of the kids heading off for rides out the back gate, nowhere near the road! Perfect. The outside verandah was a lovely place to sit and have a quiet morning coffee, plenty of sunshine and places to sit and breathe in the fresh air. Heating was excellent, although it was not cold at all while we were there, we still used the fan heater occasionally. We loved that there were plenty of blankets as well. Fab shower and bathroom, with a lovely little view, much appreciated shower at the end of a busy day on the trails.

Rustic but clean and functional. Mitch was a helpful and friendly host. Close to the pub and within reachable distance to the shuttles. Good bike storage and tool facilities. Good clothes washer for post ride cleaning up. Can recommend staying here.

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

The house is lovely, very comfy, spotless, and well appointed. Plenty of parking and a great outdoor space. The hosts really appear to care about quality and they are very approachable and responsive. This was our second stay and it was as good as the first, and there is likely to be a third visit in the future!

Wonderful stay. All you could ask for with all the amenities you need. Great location and really comfortable beds and bedding. Wendy’s place was spotless, everything was sparkling.

We had the pleasure of spending a night at Stephanie’s place recently and wished we could have stayed longer! The things that stood out were the candles lit upon arrival, leaving the place smelling so lovely and the music playing.. everything was considered. Coffee, tea, everything you need to prepare basic meals, fresh juice in the fridge, sparkling waters and Stephanie even left us a gluten free Easter gift! The bed was so comfortable, the space was clean and it even rained the whole time, so we didn’t make use of the outdoor bath but felt the place was perfect even without it! Thank you Stephanie. We will be back.
