Wow! Great property and incredible hosts! Definitely exceeded our expectations. Felt right at home. Lanah was super responsive and immediately addressed any issues we had. Very pet friendly. The range is private and very close. Almost perfect location -- mountain top seclusion, but super easy to get into town when needed. Hope to stay there again soon!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Felt very much like a HOME! We loved every second of it! Had a little coffee bar which was an amazing touch! Loved the privacy and the little game room. Everything about this little cabin! Will absolutely come back in the future!

Tony’s cabin was cozy. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The downstairs gave my teenager his own space which was great and my husband enjoyed the hot tub as well. If you plan on cooking your own meals on the stove, there aren’t many big pots to choose from so plan accordingly. The national park is a nice outing, as is the natural springs. Be sure to try the Pit Beef sandwiches and fries, they were great.

We loved our stay! The house was perfectly located with easy access to Star Tannery, Wardensville and Strasburg. We had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing weekend! It was well stock with all the little extras you need, including the kitchen, flashlights, matches, umbrellas, etc. We loved roasting s’mores by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub. My kids loved the loft so much! And it was a 3 minute drive to the amazing Eagle Rock hike. Thank you!!

What stood out about this amazing home isn’t what is listed on the description but the little things they didn’t mention that made it so welcoming. The kitchen is modern and stocked as well as my own with cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, and extra things like spices. There were night lights in the rooms, which was great for the kids. Cozy fireplace with the wood ready to use. The bathrooms are updated and the bedrooms have cozy bedroom vibes. The hot tub was perfect after a long hike. The sheets and towels are not cheep hotel grade but cozy and soft. Everything about the house just welcomes you in.

Tony's cabin is great for a local stay-cation weekend getaway. The general area doesn't have much to do, but we enjoyed our time in nature, cooking meals in the home, playing games and relaxing in the hot tub.

Plenty of space and lots things to do for a group getaway at this home. We had a blast hanging out in the game room and the hot tub. The kitchen is very spacious for all the meals we made during our stay. Surrounded by tree and listening to the woodpeckers work was peaceful and calming. The host is very friendly and quick to respond.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

It was a great place to stay. Plenty of rooms and beds. Clean and Abby was very responsive when we had any questions. Amazing view the back deck and a nice quiet location tonrest and recuperate.

Wonderful time staying at Kona’s Cabin. Hosts were wonderful and the place was a true gem, perfect get-away to the Shenandoah Valley.

Beautiful property! Very relaxing. I booked the house for my family to attend my Stepmother's memorial service so we could all stay together. I would definitely book this house again. There were a few things that I would change and have made my recommendations to the owner.

This cabin is so beautiful and peaceful - it is more amazing than the photos! Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful, and the cabin was squeaky clean. We enjoyed walking to the marsh right across the street and exploring the beautiful property. The cabin has neighbors nearby but still feels very remote and private. We had a wonderful time!

Wow! We had such a nice night at Buffalo Gap. Cabin just as described. Sean and all of the hosts were so friendly and helpful - we felt so welcomed and like it was our own little community. We’re already planning a trip back in the spring with extended family. Highly recommend!

We are privileged to be the FIRST guests in this beautiful, historic log cabin that's new to Air BnB. First impressions are spectacular! It's remote, but easy to find, and has a breath-taking view. Stepping into the cabin, there is a warm glow from the log interior, a fresh, woodsy smell from the fireplace, and the perfect amount of delightful decorations and amenities. The cabin WELL EXCEEDS expectations and is more beautiful than the photos let on. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and I appreciated the little extras like foil, baggies, paper towels. We home-cooked full meals here and found everything we needed. Rocky Ridge is a very cozy place to spend an early spring weekend. Our two children were delighted with the upstairs bedroom, we enjoyed the sunny front porch, we hiked the property and discovered historic remnants of previous cabins. Hosts Sharyn and Geoff are attentive and helpful. Thank you for trusting us with your cabin! We will be back.

These cabins sit on a ridge line overlooking beautiful West Virginia - and I heard that on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Allegheny Mountains. It was a very peaceful stay on a lovely property, and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking to recharge. Su and Sy were very friendly and responsive to my needs. I'm looking forward to going back again!

Beautiful place to come and relax and enjoy nature! Just what we needed!

This is my second stay at the retreat, and I'm planning to keep coming back! It's very peaceful and private, and the view is gorgeous. The cabins are very cozy and the owners are very accommodating. It got very cold and we had a couple snowstorms and they made sure everything was taken care of for my comfort and safety. I go there to meditate and compose music, and the Lotus cabin was perfect as it had lots of space. Everyone there is very friendly and respectful of your space. Love this place!!

This was my second time at Buffalo Gap, but I brought more friends this time. Everyone loved it! The location is really great. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. You can buy firewood there to use at your fire pit as well. There is a cute little town nearby. Both times we visited we also enjoyed the scenery and took a trip on the Potomac Eagle.

Buffalo Gap is gorgeous. Our kids played at the lake for 8 hours straight each day- it’s a gem of a place. The cabins we stayed in were definitely rustic- old and worn furniture, but everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. We had an amazing time and will be visiting again. Staff were super polite and communicative.

Another peaceful stay for a solo meditation retreat! Su, Sy, and Philip are always responsive and make sure visitors have a great stay. The cabin was very clean and spacious, and I enjoyed spending time on the front porch watching all the local wildlife. I'll be back again!

We've been back to Buffalo Gap several times since 2020. We always enjoy it. Highly recommend.
