Our family had a fun little girls weekend at Deja Blu! It was the perfect size for four of us - cozy and comfy with sweet beach decor throughout! The house is conveniently located just a few blocks from the beach, making it easy to run home quickly if you need. The hosts have ensured the house is well-stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach...plus an outdoor shower! Quick and easy communication too!

This was a wonderful location with personal touches and thoughtful planning. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked, yard was perfect for our dog and beds were clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the beach which was a quick walk away. Brian was responsive on the two occasions I had to reach him. The home was close to Little Creek base which was convenient to see our son. Parking was terrific and the home is on a street that is not too busy. The only negative that I’d have is that (as a middle aged woman who sleeps HOT) we were unable to adjust the home’s temperature below 68. Ceiling fans and oscillating fans were available which was helpful. Overall would recommend this home and its host and will likely be back in the future!

We were very pleased with the house. Just be careful w little ones, all vent covers were not secured to the floor properly and that could be safety hazard. One disappointment we had -although the beach was very close (5 minutes walk) there were runoff pipes all along the beach. Public beach a 5 minute drive. We ended up driving to Virginia Beach and had much better time there, 40 minute drive.

Lovely spot, well appointed with everything you need for a beach vacay. Super clean and organized. Comfy beds, awesome backyard, bikes and kayaks to borrow. We had a great stay!

we had an excellent time at the little grey house. its cute and comfy and the view is to die for. please do yourselves a favor and watch the sunrise at least once its beautiful. theres not much on the island itself for food but there are plenty of places to find good food near by. I highly recommend the pizza at southwind pizza. was really good. I promise you will enjoy your stay at. Will hopefully beable to book again next time were down in the area!

We have been lucky enough to stay at Lauren’s super cute little home two times. Hope to be able to stay more. Super quiet and Lauren is very attentive. Thank you again Lauren!!

Even though he was out of town when we arrived, Spence was available by phone and quick to respond. We were charmed by the tangible history of the house, and surprised by how private it is, in spite of its proximity to the street. For us, the vintage upstairs bathroom was an added pleasure, and well worth the signs of age. This is a truly beautiful house for visitors who can appreciate it, and Spence is a great host!

This is my 3rd year staying at one of Lynn’s properties. It is in an amazing location very close to the reason/location that I visit each year. I love the home and plan to book here once a year every single year when ai visit the area. Great host, great home, and great location.
