Our stay was great! There were more steps down to the dock than expected but this seems to be common on Douglas Lake. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we find ourselves taking another trip!

We enjoy the cabin so much!!! It is in a great location and close to all activities. I have grown kids and they loved the river and the kayaks! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with our family!

Angela is hosting a very unique experience for a small amount of $$. The camper is the perfect size for 2 people, and is within 40 mins driving time of pretty much everything the area has to offer. The road to get there was a little tough in my small VW Golf hatchback, but I was able to maneuver it around the ruts and never once got stuck, even when it was muddy. Angela left me and my wife each a locally sourced cupcake and they were so good, I enjoyed mine on my 25th birthday :)

I have never left a review before. I HAD to after staying at Shelly's place. It was phenomenal!! Clean, cozy, cheery, private, homey, restful, snug, safe, serene, happy to name just a few. Shelly provides so many extras that other B&Bs don't - both tangible and intangible. She's a beautiful soul and you feel her touches in every room, every day. She hand delivered a 1/2 gallon of frozen yogurt after she heard I was gluten free and wasn't able to eat the delicious cookies she left. The ONLY disappoint you'll have is when you have to leave. Oh and her new rental property is just GORGEOUS and ON POINT. It's right down the road. We took a peek before we headed home. Best of luck Shelly!! We hope to see you again!!!!

This was probably the nicest and newest Airbnb we stayed at for the cost we paid. Its definitely a recent build and as an architectural designer, I can tell that the builder went above and beyond to make this place nicer and better quality than average. Usually you get rentals that are filled with the cheapest of the cheap interiors and appliances. This place definitely had European touches and felt like someone built it with an intention to stay there themselves. Bedding and towels smelled amazing! Kitchen was very functional. Balcony was a good size with a large umbrella so you can enjoy outside. We stayed at unit #3 which had very private backyard, so we spent lots of time outside. We loved the walking trails, the water dock, and the playground with our toddler. The grounds were well lit-up in the evenings, which not only made it feel more cozy but also extra safe. You can definitely see water from the unit, however, its not a very big lake, but still pretty with a water fountain.

The stay was overall amazing. There was not that many towel for a family of four for our 3 day stay. However I went wash the ones she had. I was fine with that. The scene was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoy the fishing. Thanks again

We booked our stay the same day as check in. Akay was quick to respond and make us feel welcome. The cabin is very cute, cozy, comfortable and perfect for a couple getaway! As with other reviews, I found the bed very comfortable! We didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed fully stocked. You can see the house next door on one side, but it's high up on a hill, so not level. Compared to other cabins in Gatlinburg which are right on top of each other, it felt like more privacy. The sound of the creek was wonderful. THE GAME TABLE!!! That was a game changer for us. We looked forward to coming back at night after a day of exploring to play some fun games! It was really fun! We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is exactly as described. It looks just like the pictures and the water level of the lake was exactly what they described. This get-a-way was exactly what I needed, kayaks, hammocks, peace and quiet. Driveway is a little tricky/ steep. I would definitely stay here again.
