Great place to stay with lots of space. Hot tub and sauna were great and the added cinema room was a nice extra. Location was good but shame there was not a path so we could walk down to Pitlochry. Ben Vrackie was only a few miles away so we had a hike up and the views did not disappoint. Laura & Jamie were friendly and helpful and showed us how everything worked on arrival.

A return visit for us, another beautiful peaceful break from our busy lives. Would recommend the Juniper hut to everyone. Cosy cabin with everything you could need,with so much to see only a short drive away.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Lovely property and comes with a suana and hot tub, couldnt have asked for anymore. Such a relaxinf long weekend.

Host Nick was extremely helpful and the place is beautiful we drove 7 hours to go there and would recommend to any going one hundred percent be going back

Wild Thistle Lodge absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The location is out of this world — the views are simply breathtaking, like something from a postcard. Every corner of the lodge was immaculate, cozy, and clearly designed with so much love and attention to detail. Jane, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She had a full folder waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even directions to everything — it made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at home the minute you walk in, but Wild Thistle Lodge was exactly that. The peaceful surroundings, the stunning views, the thoughtful touches throughout the lodge — it all came together to create one of the best stays we have ever had. Had a lovely and relaxing stay and it was a great location for visiting nearby distilleries, the bonus was that it was dog friendly so we could bring our pup with us too!

Ali is an excellent host - a truly wonderful lady with a really warm personality - she made us feel so welcome and looked after. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we loved most was the quirkiness and noticing something new every time we wandered around. It’s clear that a lot of love and creativity has gone into this magical wee place. The grounds and location are so peaceful and tranquil - dining outside around the fire pit and stargazing after some time in the hot bath and sauna was a real treat. We loved the stillness of the place - a very welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We absolutely loved our stay and have told all our friends about this wee gem. Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

Nette, ruhige Unterkunft mitten im Wald mit schöner Aussicht. Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten vor Ort alles was wir benötigten. Ein toller Ort zum Ausruhen und Entspannen.

This place was a dream for us and our dog! could not have picked a better location! was a great location to see things in the area with beautiful walks and lochs! also was a good location for getting to Skye! Lindsay also had a n amazing welcome pack which was such a nice touch for us and our dog! Lindsay was amazing and super helpful throughout! She even messaged us to give us a heads up about the northern lights being visible and allowed us to capture and see this for the first time ever! so grateful for this. highly recommend this place!

Booked for an off-grid stay. The cabin completely exceeded expectations - we had everything we needed including cooking utensils, fire starters, and indoor & outdoor fire and linen. Functional outhouse toilet and shower. Thanks so much for having us!

We had a great weekend break in Fort William staying at Jakkie's cabin. The location was ideal for us with free parking and a trail right next to the cabin which was perfect for walking our dog. The cabin is a perfect space for 2 people (and a dog). Would highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful stay, the photos of the cabin didn't do it justice! Gorgeous views of the surroundings and lots of green space around each cabin which was great for the dog. A lovely, secure outdoor area for each cabin was also great. The cabin itself was spacious, spotless and had everything we might have needed for the evening. Log fire was set and everything explained thoroughly at check in by friendly host. Can't fault this place and definitely would return with dog and little one in tow! Thanks again!

For our family of 4 Harriet’s cabin was a perfect rand cosy etreat and starting base for exploring the environment. The location is scenic and calm and the cabin is well equipped and beautifully maintained. Check in and out went very smoothly and the host are very friendly and supportive. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

We experienced our stay in the cabin and Inger as a host as very good. The cabin is spacious and was very clean. The surroundings where the cabin is located are truly beautiful, almost fairytale-like. We were lucky to have sunny weather and could enjoy eating outside. It is about a 20-minute drive to Pitlochry, a charming small town with many activities.

Priceless stunning view! Perfect location in between Fort William and Glencoe (20mins drive to either). Nice and quiet area, perfect for a retreat/ getaway trip!

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. I arrived by public transport from Kyle and the bus driver kindly let me off just opposite the cabin. There were some lovely local walks but equally just amazing to sit and watch the tide coming in and going out. It’s a wonderful location to feel connected to nature. At the same time not feeling cut off and being able to walk about 10 mins to a couple of restaurants and a bit further to Broadford for a supermarket. Also managed to arrange a tour of the island with Skye Tours who picked me up from just outside the cabin. So I would highly recommend a stay at the cabin and it’s was easily doable without a car.

What can I say. Truly a breathtaking area and not to mention a great little cabin. I loved the wood burner and decor. It's a very peaceful place and good area to get a well night's rest. I enjoyed walking out to Loch Laidon and Loch Eigheach. and spending a day wondering the land of Corrour. The facilities at the station are good and it was lovely to watch trains come and go from the window across from the bed in the lodge. I would recommend this lodge to all and I wouldive to come back at some point.

Ernst is an amazing host and one can tell he takes great care for us to be confortable at the cabin. It was spotless and in a quiet and good spot. Only good things to say! You feel at home during your holidays which is an absolute plus!
