Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

If I could rate this place 100/10, I would! I rented this home for my dad’s 100th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. I was nervous about booking a place without seeing it in person, but Desiree quickly put me at ease. She sent detailed photos, answered all of my questions, and reassured me throughout the entire process. Now for the space itself. WOW. It was absolutely beautiful! The other reviews were right. It looks even better in person. Everything was clean, well maintained, and fully functional. And the views of the river were just breathtaking. The house was also incredibly family and kid friendly. There were so many thoughtful touches and fun details, including tons of games like giant Tetris. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful it was, and my dad was all smiles the entire night. If you are on the fence about booking this place, let me help you decide. Do it. You will not regret it. This was hands down the best experience ever!

Our stay was amazing! The house was beautifully equipped, we felt right at home. The mattresses were SO COMFORTABLE - the pillows were nice and fluffy - AND CLEAN. Everything was so clean. The neighborhood was AMAZING - safe and quiet - great place to take an evening walk. Located right near the freeway! Would def. Stay again!

Robyn’s place was perfect for our visit to Golden 1 to watch the Kings play. It was easy access to the arena, safe, clean, and quiet. Would stay there again!

Serene & absolutely beautiful everywhere you look. Very Comfortable bed, quiet & so relaxing. Loved how remote, private & out in the country it is. And also close to downtown & stunning hikes to the rushing American River & waterfalls. A must see & visit. Steve was so helpful & responds right away to help. He let me borrow his kitchen oven to bake bread- so nice & welcoming.

House was large and could accommodate a large group, in a good location, right by grocery store, coffee shops, and places to eat! Neighborhood was nice, and the house was fairly priced for the space and amount of guests it can accommodate, thank you!

Cynthia’s place was cozy and relaxing. The spa was so nice to relax in. We walked to restaurants from the house. We love the Land Park neighborhood. It was quiet and the place was just as described. We even got to meet Toby.

Our stay was perfect. The pictures were accurate and the place was as described. It was a surprise for my wife who loves Spanish architecture so she was thrilled. Olga was a great host making sure we had everything we needed. We will most definitely stay there again, especially in the summer.

Stayed 5 days for our 46 year wedding anniversary had a blast loved how comfortable we were and how nostalgic all the decorations were. Had a 1960 Tailgate for the bed headboard and lots of Placerville and area history signage and literature. Loved it

Lindsay’s place was great. It was easy to find, easy to check in and out of. Lindsay was very communicative and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were in town for a few days and felt very comfortable and safe at Carrie’s place. She also provided a parking pass for our car and we didn’t have issues with street parking. Very central to lots of restaurants and coffee shops!

Kirsten & Theo's home is so charming!! Close enough to town too! The linens on the bed were top notch and the bed was extremely comfortable. After an entire day showing dogs at the fairgrounds, we sure needed a good night's rest, and we got it! The massage chair was WONDERFUL! It even massages your feet and legs!! The bathroom is large and clean. The towels were also high quality. There are so many extra touches that they added to make you feel right at home. Thank you, Kirsten & Theo!! We will definitely be back!

Carol’s space was so cute and serene. The garden outside of the Inkling is so beautifully done and such a nice view to wake up to when opening the window panes. The inside was tastefully decorated, linens felt nice and clean and cozy, and we slept well each night! The surrounding neighborhood proved to be a very nice area to stroll and see wildlife (deer, bats, snakes!) and a 10-15 minute drive to any stores, coffee shops, etc. A wonderful getaway if you’re okay with not walking to restaurants/shops - the trade off is tranquility and nature, and it was so worth it! Thank you Carol!!

I have stayed here 3 times and each time is lovely. The house is comfortable and clean and the landscape is beautiful. Didn't want to leave.

Very clean and peaceful home. Equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The horses were beautiful to see from the window every morning. They accepted our pets and home was pet friendly- their dogs do roam the property but pretty much stayed away from the guesthouse. Convenient and safe location! Would definitely stay again. Fawsia's place was amazing. Her and her husband Ash are wonderful people who greeted us when we arrived with their lovely extremely friendly dog Max. The place inside is beautifully designed with wonderful African art. We felt at peace and welcomed in this space and very appreciative of them to open up their one of a kind sanctuary to spend the weekend at. Whenever we have an activity to attend in Elk grove we will stay again. Wonderful people and atmosphere. Everything was perfect.

We had an amazing experience at the cabin. The views were breath taking and it truly made for a relaxing weekend. It was very kid friendly and there was so much to do related to being outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Don and Kathy, for making our special weekend even more memorable!

This was a peak experience staying at this beautiful historic home and expansive property. Kathleen couldn’t have been more helpful and warm before and during our magical stay. There is so much to do on the property that you won’t want to leave. The heated pool was awesome even in Feb and we played with all the games in the garage on the courts too. We picked fresh citrus from the orchard and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were 15 guests who stayed overnight and everyone had a bed, but there is much more room for additional guests beyond what we had. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds so comfortable. She and her team have really thought of everything! We will not hesitate to go back for another family gathering soon!

Perfect base for visiting Sacramento and surrounding areas. Accommodation was excellent and was perfect for what we required. Close to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

This is my third time staying in the cottage. Perfect location, perfect layout for two couples. Spotless interior. You can't get a better host than HELEN. She is so friendly and kind. She is always asking if there's anything she can do for us. You won't be disappointed in the hospitality you will receive. It a great place to stay. Would highly recommend you starting their.

Jacqui und Paul sind wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeber. Das Riverstay ist wundervoll. Es hat eine gut funktionierende Heizung, es war trotz eines Kälteeinbruchs sehr sehr warm, das sagt eine Frostbeule, die ihre Wärmflasche nicht nutzen musste, was an ein Wunder grenzt. Es gibt nichts was nicht vorhanden ist, vom Salz bis zur Bodylotion ist alles vorhanden. Sehr bequeme Betten und absolute Ruhe. Alles ist geschmackvoll und penibel sauber. Obwohl die Gastgeber selbst im Haus wohnen ist die Privatsphäre völlig gewahrt. Danke für fantastische Tage.
