Felt right at home once we opened the door, nice place and we really enjoyed sitting on the back deck the view is great. Sally stopped by to check in and she very nice to talk to with. We saved her place for a place to stay when we go south again .

Another peaceful stay at the farm - beautiful animals, lovely sunset, quiet and calm area. The kids loved the friendly dogs and just looking at the horses is joyful. Tricia and Logan and everyone we saw was friendly and kind. In reading some other tennis, let me just remind you - this is a barn apartment on a working farm. Yes some things are rustic but everything works and it's a fantastic connection to nature and animals here. We will be back!

This place was so cute. I felt like we were staying in a house made for a Hallmark Christmas movie. Kim was a great host! She was so polite and quick to respond!

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.

Girls weekend was a success. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything needed. Plenty of room to gather/visit/play games/etc, however, listing as a 3 bedroom is a bit misleading. Thankfully Cathy had explained the “overflow bedroom” prior and we brought our travel bed. Cathy gives excellent instructions, so thankfully we did not have to bother her while there. Thanks for a wonderful space to celebrate and appreciate the beauty of friends.

This place is beautiful. It was so peaceful. They have that about all the little details. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The pictures don’t do it justice! Cathy’s place was wonderful for our family (11 people - 3 kids, 8 adults). It was beautiful, clean, great views, and more than enough room for everyone. My dad is disabled so it was important to find a place with a main floor master. Cathy’s main floor master was accessible and extremely disability friendly. My whole family had an incredible time. Our favorite part was definitely the deck and the amazing views! We will definitely be back again.

This is the third or fourth time that we have stayed at this location and it has always been an exceptional place to stay for a relaxing an peaceful getaway. The location is beautiful and while it may be considered remote by some, it is easily accessible to surrounding attractions: Floyd, Meadows of Dan, Mabry Mill, Hillsville and Mount Airy. The home is exactly as advertised with great amenities. I highly recommend this location if visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway and we hope to be back soon.
