Stay was amazing, exactly as the description says - felt cozy and at home, hot tub was great and lots to do within a 15-30 minute drive. We left some binoculars after our stay in hopes everyone staying in the future can use them to look at the ocean! We were able to see some sea lions from the back porch!

Have stayed in these cottages several times. The view and closeness to the ocean is unbeatable! The cottages are clean and have nice amenities like pet blankets and coffee.

First of all, We loved the place, it's cozy and has a lot of character. The hot tub was definitely a bonus and you have a beautiful veiw of the river. The place was pretty clean but we noticed it was in need of a deep clean, but that's to be expected in older homes. I personally loved the upstairs bath, with the skylight letting in all the natural light, so relaxing. Downside... The downstairs "shower" is awful for people with sensory issues, it's a claw tub with a shower head attached to the window, kinda awkward to deal with. but the shower curtain is on a oval rod and it allows the curtain to touch you, it's a disgusting feeling to have a wet shower curtain sticking to your body when your trying to get clean. I would recommend replacing that with an actual shower. But! we would definitely stay again and we definitely recommend it!

Our family of 4 had a great visit! The location was ideal, just a minute or two walk down the hill to the beach. The cottage was incredibly clean. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the deck. I didn’t fully read the description that the laundry and game room were in a shared space rather than in the cottage itself so that was a bummer but totally my fault for misunderstanding 🥴 The stove knobs need a little love; a few were loose and/or didn’t accurately register the heat level. Overall we had a lovely stay and would come back.

Right on the beach - 20 feet away. Extremely clean, well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated. Neighbors on both sides but absolutely no issues. View out the back toward the ocean is completely unobstructed. Spent hours just watching the ocean waves, birds and sunsets. Beach is extremely wide - at low tide and even at high tide you can walk for a mile either direction north or south. Be advised the property has the Pacific Coast Highway on the east side and there is traffic noise, but from the decks on the west side, it's not noticeable. We didn't try the hot tub but it was ready and waiting for use. Having immediate access to the beach with unlimited walking made this a well-worth 7 night vacation for us.

Great place to stay. The hot tub by the beach was a highlight of my trip. Well worth the money to be on the beach and not be cold!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cattail Cottage. It's that quiet private gem in the woods that we were looking for to disconnect and enjoy one another's company without all the distractions. We got the best night's sleep. We saw deer, hummingbirds, snails, and slugs in the yard and walking on the path. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and ate outdoors. Enjoyed our coffee by the river in the mornings to watch the birds. It's close enough town if you need cell service or supplies and to access fun adventurous day hikes. The host was very friendly and we were impressed with all the Murtlewood decor throughout the cottage. The pictures and description were spot on. We will definitely be back.

Great layout and lots of room for our multi-generational family get together.

The cottage was as described. The beds were comfortable and the instructions were easy to follow for the WiFi and TV. We had a major plumbing issue the second day we were there and Mark had it taken care of the following day. It was a very peaceful area and lots of areas to walk and an easy walk to the Ocean as well as many places nearby to access the beach. We all enjoyed the stay thoroughly especially since the weather was beautiful.

There are 56 stairs from the house to the boathouse and every single one of them is worth it. Lynda’s boat house is amazing, it’s fun for sunny or rainy days, if you’re not sure of the weather while visiting 10 mile then this place is perfect because you can still be in the lake and have that experience from the indoors too. So fun for kids. The water on 10mile is not great from the pipes, not just at Lynda’s, we stay 10 mile a lot and this is just something about it, had a sulfur smell and taste. Lynda had good clean water there for us. Beds are not great, I heard from my friend that the bed in the guest house was good though. The two in the main house were difficult, I’m 36, I can do it but I also feel it. There is not shampoo or any of those types of amenities, there was a big bag of sample condition though, so be prepared to back your own cosmetics. She has a good amount of towels which is a necessity and was appreciated. The view was great,

Our recent stay at Chad‘s place was wonderful. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the skate park across the street as well as the park and being able to walk down to the beach. The house was fully stocked with a full kitchen and all the amenities we needed. Chad was super friendly and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this place to those traveling to Newport.

Beautiful little cabin close the ocean! We were lucky to be there while the closest cabin next door was unoccupied which made it even more peaceful. The backyard is a nice size to throw the ball for our dog; there is no secure fenced area and that is the only thing that would have made it better. You can hear the ocean which was amazing and the walk down to it is sooo close! We did not go down to the beach near the cabin due to the large rocks at the bottom of the steps (which is mentioned in the listing). We did not want to risk our dog hurting himself trying to get down and then back up since it was raining and slippery. We did have an issue when we first arrived - we had no hot water. We contacted management and they came and got it up and running in no time. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved it here, we stayed for 2 nights and it was lovely, it’s within walking distance of stores and restaurants and a beautiful view of the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the Starlight! Nikki’s instructions were perfect. It was easy to find and enter. The location was secluded and very comfortable. The view of the ocean was amazing and accessible to the beach was very easy. We enjoyed sunshine and storms and felt safe and cozy the whole time. It also had a perfect little yard for our dog. The overall stay at the Starlight was excellent!

My husband and our two dogs stayed for 3 nights at the cap cod cottage, unit 7. We loved it!! The cottage was so comfortable, had everything we needed to prepare meals, and you cannot beat the proximity to the beach. We literally spent hours on the beach with our dogs! We played card games on the balcony, watched movies in the evening, read books in the cozy arm chairs, and explored in town for a couple hours one afternoon. We barely left the Airbnb or beach and it was the most relaxing vacation. Our dogs felt right at home too. The wood floors were a bit slippery for our older dog, but we had a yoga mat and that helped him with getting on and off the bed. The host provided dog blankets for us which was really nice, because even though we brought towels to clean them it’s hard to get all of the sand cleaned off of dog fur! We will definitely be back again! We appreciated how affordable the rental was and felt like we got an incredible value for the price!

This home was beautiful and well stocked. It was a block from the beach and the view from the second floor was amazing.

Julie was very helpful and accommodating throughout. This is an easy Yachats village stay with a short walk to the store, restaurants, and beach.

Our family LOVED our stay and will be back again when we come through town! The appliances were modern, everything was clean and welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable. Close to food, shops, and quick drive to Newport, with a quiet, small town woody vibe. Very cool layout, and plenty of room for a family of 5! We especially loved the themed rooms and decor. Easy check in, and very helpful and kind property manager who happened to be on site checking on things after a big storm. We will be back, thank you!

This is our second stay at Chad’s cottage. It was a stunningly beautiful weekend and the autumn leaves reflected in the river with herons and seals cruising by was incredible. Chad and his wife are always super friendly, the cottage spotless and the beds comfy. My husband would take each of the kids canoeing up and down the river to fish for salmon in a canoe provided. If you don’t have a river house with all the toys, this is the next best thing.

Great location and extremely cozy home, and we have WONDERFUL stay here! Susan gives us a very warm welcome and we have almost everything here including yummy breakfast and white wine, the bay view is amazing even its rainy outside, one of the best bnb I've ever stayed!

What a gem! Funky in just the right way--unique, historical without feeling a bit decrepit, artfully decorated, and squeaky clean. Gina was very proactive in making sure what to expect, and being available for issues and questions. Very comfortably furnished, and in an unbeatable location for us, since we like to just park the car until we leave for home. Extremely walkable area, and in my opinion, on one of the best walking beaches in Oregon. We can't wait to stay again!
