What a wonderful experience we had with the extremely friendly and hospitable hosts Renate and Gerrit. They immediately made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble (including a very late check in and very early check out). the breakfast was a feast, the room was lovely and cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Huizen is a lovely spot to base yourself to explore the surrounding areas of Laren and Naarden as well as easily accessible by public tranport to Amsterdam. There are bikes to use to explore locally and there are 2 supermarkets within 10min walk or 2min ride. You will not find two nicer people and a great Air BnB. We would definitely recommend it.

Environnement très agréable, très jolie maison, dans un joli quartier au calme, à proximité de la gare (environ 15mn en voiture). Clair est très accueillante, agréable, présente, disponible mais pas intrusive. Très bonne expérience, nous la recommandons vivement. Merci pour tout.

Sehr netter Empfang! Corine hat mich sehr warm empfangen und mir alles gezeigt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön hergerichtet und geräumig. Die Dusche und das WC ist auf dem Gang und man teilt es sich mit der Inhaberin. Es wurden mir auch Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt und es gibt ein eigenes Waschbecken mit Spiegel im Zimmer. Auch eine Mikrowelle und Teekocher. Das Frühstück ist im Wohnzimmer. Corine war sehr freundlich und hat mir ein leckeres Frühstück zubereitet.

Gerrie is a very lovely and thoughtful Lady. Not easy to talk as I don’t speak Dutch but with her few words in English, we have been able to discuss a bit and discover her rich life. It is a paradise for children, mine didn’t want to leave anymore!! We have used the fully equiped kitchen to cook dinner and we have been spoilt with a very varied breakfast. The bedroom was very big and cosy. I recommand her for sure. Thanks again for everything.

Maurice has perfected the art of hosting. You’ll be comfortable, well taken care of and enjoy the company and stories of a lovely host :) Almere may be a bit further away from the city center if you’re visiting Amsterdam, but it’s well connected, calm and Maurice makes you feel at home in his beautiful place :) Don’t forget to check the cherry blossoms nearby if you’re visiting in the beginning of Spring!

Anfitriones muy amables. Buen desayuno y baño limpio. Tienen 5 gatos adorables que no molestan pero cuyo sanitario está en la cocina por lo que se siente olor. El precio nos pareció alto para ser una habitación con baño compartido.

We stayed at Harold’s house for two nights. He is a nice person that receive me and my girlfriend like as a member of the family. I can advise this place for easygoing people, travelers, backpackers that want share experiences. The house is clean and all the amenities was fine. Train to Amsterdam takes 37 min if u get a correct one!

Wat een geweldige locatie. Mijn zoon en ik wilde een rustig weekend samen. Overdag gewandeld in het bos en de zandvlakte die gelijk aan de tuin grenzen. S’avonds buiten gezeten bij de houtkachel en de bbq Steven is een geweldige host.

Greatly enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place. Unfortunately when we stayed in Bussum, the train to Amsterdam had maintenance so we had to take a train with two or three stops making it an hour train ride instead of 15 minutes, which wasn’t expected, but the place was so great and Nancy was so accommodating and communicative. Such a nice place to stay! We also enjoyed how parking was right outside of the building, making it easy to go back and forth if needed. And literally was a few minutes walk to a drug store and grocery store, so all in all, loved where we stayed and it was great for me and my family with a toddler.

We had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful place during our trip to the Netherlands. Renate and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed some lovely conversations over breakfast, which made our stay even more special. They have a sweet and attentive dog, and two shy cats that you might spot occasionally. I would love to visit this place again someday. Huizen is a charming and peaceful town, and it's easily accessible with the Amsterdam Regional Travel Ticket. I loved the place right away. The hosts are so nice and welcoming. I would have loved to stay a little longer, it felt so very nice and private. I hope to be able to come Again one time🩷

Wat een fijne, groene, rustige plek! Aardige, behulpzame mensen. Heerlijk ontbijt en allerlei kleine details waaraan gedacht was. Mochten we ooit weer een overnachtingsplek in deze buurt nodig hebben, dan komen we zéker terug! :-)

We zijn heel tevreden over ons verblijf. Communicatie verloopt vlot via chat. We vonden de ingang iets moelijker omdat het al donker was bij aankomst, maar gastvrouw stuurde duidelijke foto's door. De kamer was super, groot, luxueus en helemaal privé. Gebruik gemaakt van jacuzzi en e-fietsen. Ligging perfect in de rust en met fiets op 10 min van stadje. Met de auto hebben we Flevoland en Friesland ontdekt tijdens ons weekend. Ontbijt meer als in orde. Zeker een aanrader voor ons!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Bianca, c'est une hôte charmante, attentionnée tout en restant discrète. Elle nous a montré sa ferme, nous a parlé de son activité et présenté ses animaux (canards, chevaux, mouton, chien, chat, alpacas, nous avons pu en caresser un), elle répondait gentiment à toutes nos questions les concernant, c'était intéressant. Le logement correspondait bien aux photos et descriptions, cosy, propre, spacieux, le lit était très grand et confortable, doté d'une jolie housse de couette remplie de laine d'alpaca, nous avons très bien dormi! Le lieu est paisible, calme la nuit. Le petit déjeuner savoureux, préparé avec amour et gentillesse (nous étions deux personnes sans gluten et elle nous a apporté une panière contenant plusieurs sortes de petits pains sans gluten frais et exquis), offrait beaucoup de produits faits maison, il était copieux et délicieux! Nous nous sommes régalés! Bianca est vraiment une hôte exceptionnelle, tout a été parfait chez elle!

Wij hebben een comfortabel nachtje doorgebracht in Uddel, en een gezellig ontbijt volgde! De kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, Wim en zijn vrouw zijn heel gastvrij en de omgeving is echt prachtig!

Bei Sonja waren wir bereits zum zweiten Mal Gäste und haben uns sofort wieder zuhause gefühlt. Sonja ist eine wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeberin. Das merkt man auch an dem herrlichen Frühstück, dass sie jeden Tag voller Liebe und abwechslungsreich zubereitet. Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unser nächsten Aufenthalt bei Sonja.

Vriendelijke mensen allemaal.We waren er al vroeg en we mochten onze spullen eral neerzetten. onze fietsen konden in een schuurtje staan. Fijne kamer, met een fijn bed. Heerlijk ontbijtje in een kleine ruimte naast onze kamer. Prachtige omgeving.

Irmi was a very kind and welcoming host, and we felt right at home upon entering. She was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay and gave us many tips for buying public transportation tickets. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and safe.
