Great place to stay. Had everything we needed and more

Roe Loft was exactly as it was advertised. Although pictures did not do it justice, even though the accommodation was true to all pictures and descriptions. It was secluded, private, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Sarah and Chris were lovely, friendly and very discreet. Totally available but left us to ourselves unless they were needed. All queries were very quickly responded to before and during our stay. The loft had everything you could wish for, even condiments for our fish suppers which was a lovely surprise find in the kitchen cupboards. There were tourist info sheets on table and great welcome information. Loft was lovely, cosy and comfortable, my favourite spot was the window seat seeing the garden and birds popping up to say hello. We were warmly welcomed by all including the family dog which just made us feel even more welcome. The location was secluded but gave us easy travel to all the areas we had planned to visit during our short stay. We certainly hope to return.

I haven’t used Airbnb much after a bad experience but when Karen’s apartment came up on a search even though it wasn’t in our first choice location this being in Carrick on Shannon & we were looking for Sligo, I knew it would be ideal for our group & it was. The apartment was very clean & had everything you could want for both a weekend & much longer stay. Waking up overlooking the marina was a big plus. It was in a very convenient location being next door to a decent supermarket, cinema, restaurant, cafe, pub & only a 5 min walk to town. The town of Carrick on Shannon has so many great pubs & restaurants for a great night out it can’t be beaten. Karen the host was very flexible on check in times, extremely friendly & helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the area & some great recommendations. I will definitely be looking to book this place again & our group all agreed it was the best Airbnb any of us have stayed in. Thanks again Karen

We had a brilliant stay at The Annex, suited our needs perfectly. Comfortable and Rina was great helping with local recommendations. A very nice little touch with some essentials and goodies in the fridge. Highly recommend and will stay again 👍🏼

The property is in a fantastic location. It is exactly as described and the facilities provided are all great.

The view from the Bayview is spectacular. The apartment itself was spotless and check was simple. Sharon came up to see us with Poppy the Shetland pony and lacy her beautiful dog. Sharon and Dermot were beautiful very welcoming and friendly. This will be our base any time we visit Donegal Town in the future.

Lovely cosy wee guesthouse, beautifully kept and made very welcoming with candles, snacks etc. couldn't have asked for a nicer place for my stay :)

The apartment was just as advertised. We stayed for 2 nights and spent a couple of days hiking so didn't see the town much. Very handy for supermarket and takeaway after a busy day. apartment had all that you needed for a comfortable stay.

This place was a wonderful find! So cosy and peaceful! would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another quiet night away!

Great base for 13 folk on a stag weekend. Clean, comfortable and well located!

Irish cottage dream!! ... that is how I would describe Toddy's. I stayed in the Hideaway in the back and it was just like the pictures. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. A very comfortable bed, kitchenette and everything you need. The location is close enough to drive to Ballinagh (or a long walk) and Cavan Town, and private and peaceful. You wake up in the morning to gorgeous views and sheep in the next field. I also had a peek into the cottage as it wasn't booked and would love to stay there next time! Aishling was VERY responsive and proactive and appeared within the minute when I needed some help. Great job Aishling!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Foothills Retreat in Gortin village. Apartment spotless and so homely with lovely extra touches which were so appreciated. Hot tub and Sauna an amazing bonus at this property, with robes supplied. Great wee pub opposite and superb food at restaurant below apartment. Five star all round.

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Vicky was very attentive upon arrival which we appreciated. The location itself is lovely, perfect for what we were looking for. Great spot 10/10. Hot tub was well sheltered and apartment was brilliant. Would return any day.
