Martin’s place offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It’s about a 15-minute walk into town, which was a bonus given the current traffic and parking challenges in Queenstown. Highly recommend. The apartment is located around 15 mins away from the main part of Queenstown, which was great for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle. The area was super quiet and peaceful, with amazing views of the Shotover River from the balcony. It was also really spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning location and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lakeside AirBnB accommodation. Ash & Savannah were proactive and responsive and made us feel welcome….highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the wonderful view!

Susie and her family were fantastic hosts. From the moment we were welcomed by Susie and her offsider Rosie, it was clear we picked the perfect place to base ourselves. We had a great stay here. Our children really enjoyed using the amenities (pool, ping pong, tennis courts)! The apartment was a great size for our family, clean, well appointed and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Amazing place to stay in Lake Hawea. The house is modern, warm and cosy. Perfect for family getaways. Maree was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

The house was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, spacious, and sparkling clean, it made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! The location is wonderfully peaceful, nestled so close to the Remarkables mountain range. We enjoyed the incredible mountain views every day, rain or shine. Although it was only early April, we were lucky enough to see snow-capped peaks for several days during our stay. The view was breathtaking—almost surreal—with the mountains so close, it felt like we could reach out and touch them! We also highly recommend the 30-minute scenic drive up to the Remarkables Ski Area. It’s a great base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of town. Our 11-year-old son loved the two fantastic playgrounds nearby, and there’s a beautiful walking/cycling trail too—perfect for the whole family. I had the pleasure of booking the Kawau's Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment our staff arrived, they were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. Anneke was an incredibly thoughtful and attentive host, always available to answer any questions, and made sure they had everything they needed to feel at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Lovely property in a great location with an incredible view. Accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Fire kept us warm and we loved spending time in the hot tub taking in the view of the lake and mountains after a day sight seeing.

Bernie's place in Te Anau was just perfect for us as a travelling group of 5. Close to shops, supermarket, restaurants, and the waterfront, we felt like we were right at home.... on holiday. Te Anau has so much to offer. Easy half day trip to Milford Sound and the Glow Worm caves are a must do. Great for walking or just relaxing.

We stayed here on our way back to Wanaka from Milford Sound. It's a great central place to stay in Te Anu. Easily walkable to restaurants and to the lake.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spotless and very well maintained. The breathtaking views made it even more special, and the location was perfect , easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Tim was an excellent host, communicating promptly and making everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Mi Ae’s for two nights. It has a spectacular view of Lake Whakatipu and we get to see the boats cruising around and flights take off and down. It is a very relaxing spot and I would return to stay here for a better relaxing time.
