A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

We had a fantastic weekend stay in this lovely little gem of a place, the scenery & peaceful surroundings really made it, the hot tub was a definite bonus. The local pubs were very friendly & fantastic food. I would highly recommend this place & can't wait to come back again.

What a great stay- myself and my bachelorette group stayed here for the weekend and it was beautiful. Very close to local shops and food. Easy to get an uber to the bars. And the host left the most beautiful flowers for our arrival. Very happy with our stay here.

Stayed here for the weekend of our Wedding which was local. Absolutely wonderful location, lovely cottage, with a perfect Cotswold country feel. Really clean and well supplied amenities. Quite tricky to find but owners were so lovely and extremely helpful with communication and directions. Couldn’t fault our experience!

Absolutely wonderful location, with charming accommodation. The wood fired hot tub and natural swimming pool were idyllic. Olivia and Barney were lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely return!

Ally & Simon are incredibly great & helpful hosts. Their accommodation is absolutely spot on, clean & modern. Beautiful garden and the whole house. Definitely recommend staying there, very close to the town centre, great location. Parking spot in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back. Sara provides a beautiful lodge which is filled with quality home from home provisions, is beautifully decorated, was extremely clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge and would highly recommend it.

We needed a place to stay with our cat while our house was being rewired and redecorated. We are so glad we chose Portia cottage. The cottage is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well-equipped. The surrounding countryside is stunning. There are horses to the front of the cottage and sheep to the back, and a pheasant regularly visits the back garden. We really enjoyed our stay. The host Katherine is super-responsive and helpful.
