Another great stay at a great home with great hosts.

Cozy place with great location.

Nice place to stay for a biking weekend. We really liked the location so close to the trail. It was nice to be able to lock our bikes in the garage. The house more than met our expectations. It was a unanimous decision to book for 2025!!

Great accommodations and hospitality as usual. Fresh and delicious homemade cinnamon rolls, jam and pickles for us to enjoy during our stay.

The platform glitched and we weren't actually able to stay here, but the hosts were very communicative and understanding.

We had an extended stay in this home due to some very tragic circumstances with our own home. It was truly a blessing during one of the hardest things we have encountered in life this far. We are locals but still were blown away by the beautiful views and amazing sunrises and sunsets. It was peaceful, close to dear friends, and felt like a home during our time there. If you are looking for a spot in the Driftless area that showcases the true beauty this area has to offer, this is it!

Our group of 8 friends rented the Harmony house to bike in Lanesboro & celebrate one of our friend’s 70th birthday. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking. The front patio was such a great place to hang out in the afternoon. It was too windy to have a bonfire, but we appreciated that it was there, just incase! The house is old & very charming. The bathrooms were very clean and newly updated. We neglected to notice that the upstairs has no bathroom, but the couple who slept up there didn’t seem to mind, just something to note if that’s an issue for some. My only complaint would be that a week before our arrival I asked a question on the Airbnb messages & I was given a phone number for a local contact. I texted that number 4 times and called once, no one ever answered or responded. That was a bit frustrating, but not a deal breaker. We would return.

Staying in this little valley cabin was an amazing experience. It was private (except for a few visits from dogs) and beautiful. The cabin had everything you could imagine needing including a white noise machine, eye mask, robes, shower shoes and so many kitchen gadgets. Suzette came and said hello and introduced us to her pets then we settled in for a secluded stay. The fishing was also great - my husband caught a 13 inch trout which was enough to make him smile all day, and my heart was warmed watching my senior dog and her new preppy friend explore the valley. So great!

The Bluff County Retreat house was clean, well-prepared and in a beautiful location. It was a great experience for my friends and I.

A Magical Escape – Pure Serenity and Adventure! This place was absolutely wonderful and so serene—it truly brought out our inner Huck Finn! From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of adventure and freedom, opening our minds to explore and embrace the beauty around us. Leslie was so sweet, and Roger was simply AWESOME! We had an unforgettable time with our 10-year-old daughter, feeding the fish, exploring the area, and experiencing the "off-the-grid" lifestyle while still enjoying all the comforts of home. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the whole family. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous—every little detail made the stay perfect. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful yet adventurous getaway! 🌿✨

This teeny tiny cabin was perfect for us, as we didn't plan on spending a lot of time indoors. We loved the old time cabin feel. It's just a short walk to the dam and downtown that has restaurants and shopping. The Root River bike trail is the reason we came to Lanesboro. Alayna has a safe place to lock your bikes when not riding. There is no TV so just unplug and enjoy your time in this quaint beautiful town.

We needed a place that allowed dogs and Alayna’s Airbnb worked for us. There wasn’t a dog run available; however, there was plenty of grass around her house for the dogs to roam on leash. And, there is a great park just a few blocks away. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and most allowed dogs on the porch. And, the biking is world class! Another great visit to the cabin! Clean and spacious with plenty of activity options, only limited by your imagination! My family and I had an amazing weekend and we will be back!

This gem is tucked away in a gorgeous area. It's very spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and barbeque alot. The hot water only worked in the very downstairs shower and the master bathroom after letting it run for 20 minutes. So this was inconvenient for our guests. The wall alarm kept beeping every other minute, so that was very annoying and kept people from being able to sleep. The owner did communicate very well and had the alarm company call us and gave us a work around but only lasted a few hours and then continued to beep. There is a killer fire pit area out back, but no wood supplied for it. We hunted, gathered and collected lots of would on the property and bought alot, and left alot, for the next people. There are no ceilings in the upstairs 3 rooms including the master so privacy is limited. There is one room on the main for that has a ceiling and more private but no bathroom. All and all this mansion/cabin is amazing, well supplied and very cool.
