Great stay - very quiet. Quite small though and only water is upstairs in bathroom so any food prep and clean up needs to factor this in. Still a very enjoyable stay in a great location and everything clean, tidy and comfortble

Karen’s place has amazing views over the bay of islands, it looked even better than the photos! The apartment is spacious and clean, and has a big comfy bed. It is walkable in 20mins from Russell if you don’t mind a hill walk (note it’s a bit steep) which was good for us, or a very short drive. We had a great time at Karen’s place and would definitely come back!

Lovely Central position with beautiful views and lovely host . Walking distance to everywhere in Paihia right behind shops . Host was also lovely . There are 4 lots of stairs to get your luggage up to the unit from the car park . Which would not suit elderly people with lots of luggage or health issues . Thanks very much for stay - we would stay again and recommend to others .

It was a very nice, relaxing stay in the wonderfully designed accommodation with the beautiful garden area. The hospitable Keri made it easy for me to feel at home the whole time. The very nice pool is a must, it makes the stay even more perfect. The location is a dream. The center is easy to reach and the many trails invite you to explore the beautiful landscape. I can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

Terry's place is a gem and so is Terry. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He is always up for a yarn if you fancy 1 but won't intrude. The house is on a hilltop and you are forever blessed with jaw dropping views. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Terry for having us in your home and will see you soon.

Such a beautiful spot with wonderful walks nearby. Good base for exploring the area. Karen had great local recommendations and even offered a ride. Private space with lovely patio. Helpful to have a fridge, coffee, tea, microwave and toaster. Our five nights there were great!

Terry’ place is beautiful and full of curiosities collected from his travels. The views of the house are incredible with an excellently placed spa pool. Our room was cosy and well heated and clean with an equally clean ensuite bathroom. Terry was himself there to welcome us to the house and give us a tour. When in Whangaroa, will definitely go back here.

Superb little apartment - glorious view of sunrise over sparkling water. Sailboats bobbing on their tethers, cheeky air and land birds feeding and calling in the gardens at the edge of the deck. Comfy chairs positions with plenty of cushions and lap blankets to make the most of the setting evening sun on our backs. Bed was extremely comfortable, lovely bedding. Bathroom clean, spacious and very well appointed. Great BBQ, good 2 burner cooker, oven looked good but we didn’t use on this visit. Apartment was stuffed to bursting full of goodies to make use of - every drawer and the fridge filled with every implement/condiment/sauce/spice you might want to use. Manon and Neville were very generous, attentive hosts - thank you.

They were very organised lots of local information given, hosts were very kind and helpful, supplied with games activity’s for kids and the pool was very clean and warm.

This is the perfect place for a couple to have some peace and quiet - everything you need and close to the town. Excellent condition - important to note that the driveway is steep so you need to be a confident driver or be able to walk up.

Tania was a very welcoming host with a lovely peaceful property. Fantastic value for money.

Ian was a great host! We absolutely loved staying at his beautiful hidden garden. Ian allowed us to have friends over for a BBQ and even gave us extra furniture for them and had the BBQ set up for us. The room itself was great size and bathroom was nice and tidy as well. We loved staying here and will defiantly be back when we are in the area again!!!

All-in-all an amazing, wonderful and extraordinary experience - 20/10 in all matters. The hosts, Heather and Peter, are the most welcoming and generous hosts I have come across. They are very helpful, humorous and lovely people with a great heart!! I would 100% recommend this accommodation to everyone right away, and I'm looking forward to being able to stay there again - nice, modern furniture with everything you need for a stay. An outstanding view in a calm area, a perfect escape away from big cities. Surrounded by a perfect example of new zealands nature and on top with access to a clean and nice private beach, where i.e. kayaks are ready to use. My personal highlight was the great view of the moonlight in a spacious, warm and well prepared hot tub. Biggest thank you, Heather and Peter, for preparing nice little giveaways, creating an unforgettable experience and being awesome hosts.

We loved staying at Mitch and Sue's place as well as meeting them! We got stuck in a cyclone and were very grateful to be staying in this super lovely place and even more grateful for the thoughtfulness of Mitch and Sue. I cannot recommend this accommodation more. Great wifi, lots of space and storage, amazing deck with green views, ocean on the other side and just amazing bird songs in the morning, that is all you need for an amazing holiday! 😍 Thanks to you both, we will love to come back!

Everything about this accommodation is wonderful: the exquisitely beautiful location and view, the gracious hospitality of the host and her endless special touches and treats, the convenient proximity to magical nature spots, the cleanliness and comfort of the studio…one of our most favorite places to visit!

We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful property, it was well appointed, spacious and very clean, we felt right at home straight away. It had a lovely bathroom with a great shower and a really comfortable bed. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay! The garden is beautiful! Carol and Nigel were extremely welcoming and were great hosts. We had the most amazing breakfast and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! We would definitely stay again and it was a pleasure to meet Carol and Nigel, we had such a lovely chat with them, they could easily be friends! Thank you both Angela and Tony

Great place, great hosts. We welcomed very warmly when we arrived. All instructions were given at check in and were clear and easy. Very peaceful and secluded from the road. Lovely pool that we used whilst cooking our dinner on the provided BBQ. Highly recommend

A fantastic place to stay. It is modern, clean, tidy and has a wonderful elevated view of Paihia and the islands. The shower, vanity and toilet is clean and as good as any hotel for functionality and usability. Big bed is very comfortable. Fridge works well. All in all, I would book here again in a flash. We came to Paihia as part of Mustang Owners Club tour and will recomend this place.. Cheers Tim and Lizzie of Albany.

We had an amazing stay! Lovely spacious room with everything we needed and the most comfortable bed. Lovely, friendly hosts. Lots of information of things to do in the area. So close to the main shopping centre as well.
