Whitetail Cottage is a lovely spacious home surrounded by manicured lawns and natural wooded acreage in the heart of farm country. Zana made sure we were comfortable in the Cottage with plenty of paper goods and coffee to get us started on our week's stay. The linens were bountiful and of high quality. Wi-Fi worked great, AC was cold, hot water was hot! Not a spec of dirt or stray hair was found. This sounds pretty basic, but it's the little things that make a place wonderful! Every detail was accounted for including turning on the ice maker for us, providing mints in the candy dishes, and detergent for the washing machine. Cows across the gravel road (behind a secure fence) and deer greeted us each morning and evening. The stars visible in the night sky are impressive at this location. That being said, Wal-Mart was just a 20-minute drive away so stocking-up on food was easy. I hope we will be able to return again to this beautiful location and kind hostess.

I read in the reviews the pictures don’t do this home justice and it is absolutely correct. The home is beautifully decorated with so many gorgeous and unique art pieces throughout. We highly recommend this home to anyone considering it and will likely be back for additional stays!

Francis was an amazing host! The place was so neat and tidy at the same time homely. He had amicable response time and gave great local recommendations. He made us feel right at home! If ur looking for a pretty calming relaxed environment this is your spot

We had a total of eight adults, two children, and a pet with us. Everything was wonderful. Our family loves to play games and we had plenty of room for that around the dining table. Our whole crew loved the house and the surroundings. Thank you for making our Christmas special.

I cant say enough About my experience other than above expectation. David and his group were amazing, kind, friendly, and very responsive to all questions. Home was very clean and full of vibrant accessories, it was most certainly all that was defined in the description and so much more. By far my best Airbnb Stay thus far. Thank you so much for this stay. I will definitely refer this home to anyone that will be staying in the area.

This is the sweetest little Airbnb. It is well decorated, the bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, quality, knives and pans makes cooking easy. The space is warm and cozy. The host goes above and beyond, even providing products such as, Aesop soaps and lotions. Overall an excellent place to stay if you find yourself in the little town of Fairfield Iowa

I booked this cabin because I needed some quiet time and solitude. From the moment I entered the cabin, I felt at peace. The living room/kitchen are combined and is so cozy yet plenty of space. There’s lots of natural light. It was cold outside, but the fireplace kept the room toasty. The bathroom and bedroom are the other 2 rooms, and they’re perfectly sized for 1-2 people. Best of all, though, is the deck and the view of the river! Sommer is a gracious, friendly, helpful host, and I’m thankful for my little getaway!

Awesome place. Will stay there again when in the area.
