Very quiet and peaceful! Great amenities, clean bathroom, good coffee and friendly host. Nice fire pit.

Clare was great! The posting is exactly as described and you can tell that Clare takes great pride and attention for her guests in the way that everything, down to the detail, is taken care of and how she treats her guests. During our stay we didn't need anything, however Clare and her husband were of great help and care during severe weather allowing us to come into their own home for safety. Both she and her husband are good people. I would definitely recommend her place to those looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. Thank you Clare and Andy!

The home was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The hosts have done a great job of making the house feel like a home and welcoming. It is in a cental area especially for access to Bass Pro, which is within walking distance. They were excellent communicators and friendly. We highly recommend staying here. We would book with these host again when we return to the area.

Made same day reservations, Sarah was very responsive. Great stop for our one night stay. Fireplace was 🔥, jacuzzi was 🫧. Bed was very comfy. Place was clean and cozy. Only heard one train pass around 11pm. Highly recommend!

Ben was a great host. We had a small issue with the door code not working but one quick call and he fixed it. Easy fix and easy mistake. We felt like this was a perfect place for our group to use for the Stronger Men’s conference this year. This was a local place that was close to everything that we needed while we were visiting. Would reserve again in the future if we come down next time.

Wonderful stay beautiful place. Had everything you could imagine or need. The kids loved being able to explore. Perfect for a large family gathering. Looking forward to return in the summer to utilize the lake area.

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, quiet, comfortable, clean & calm. Easy to locate, close to a lot of delicious food places and attractions. Great communication that was clear & positive!! The location provided quiet from everyday hustle & bustle with beautiful views off the deck. The calm of the James River was just a short walk (steps really) from the house and was just as quiet & peaceful as everything else. We will certainly keep this property on our list for when we return to the area!

As with our last stay - the accommodations were exceptional, and the service from the Hosts was outstanding...this will be the only place we'll ever consider staying while visiting our family in the area!! loved our stay here. perfect location, clean, quiet. love the fact there are tons of games, lots of spices to cook with. Basically anything you could need. fridge wentput when we first got there. I Don't know how Amy did it, but, lowes showed up at 730 in the morning with a new fridge! we were so shocked that she got that done in the middle of nowhere! would 100% recommend this place!
