The apartment is on ground floor with veranda in front. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful yet close to the city center and the swimming pool. The biggest shopping mall in Akureyri is only few minutes away. At a walking distance, is a great viewpoint for enjoying the midnight sun. Skiing and hiking area ten minutes away. Very cozy atmosphere for two people with two comfortable single beds or one double bed, and a crib upon request. Third guest uses a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped.

A welcoming newly renovated one bedroom apartment in the legendary skitown, Olafsfjordur. It has all you would need after a long day of skiing, sightseeing or whatever you are interested in doing in the beautiful North-Iceland. Nordic ski tracks are just 25 meters away and two famous ski areas are 15 minutes drive in each direction.

'Smiðjan' the Smithy has been lovingly restored focusing on original aesthetics and comfort. It is situated at the edge of a small industrial area where you can enjoy absolute privacy and not worry about neighbours. The large attic windows provide a perfect platform to view the northern lights and stunning views. Smiðjan is almost a 100 year old house on the shores of the little fishing village Dalvík in the north, with views of spectacular mountains and valleys where hiking is at your doorstep

This privately owned and luxurious cottage is located above Akureyri with amazing view overlooking the town, fjord and mountains. Only few minutes away from town central. Three bedrooms, one with double bed and the others with two single beds. Modern and spacious kitchen and living room with large windows. Two bathrooms and laundry with washer and dryer. Hot tub inside with a large door to the balcony. Garden furniture and BBQ on the balcony. Northern lights and "ski out" during the winter.

Ideally situated just outside the village of Dalvik, within 5-15 min. walking distance to all services such as supermarket, wine-shop, swimming-pool, health centre, pharmacy, cafés and retaurants, museum, culture house… Great hiking and cross-country skiing possibilities just outside the door!

Cottage in a beautiful valley

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from May till September.

Nordic Cottage by the Lake

Our Cottage is one of a kind. It's modern, yet rustic, with large windows in all direction for the best view over the lake and mountains. It sits in a hill above Lake Ólafsfjörður and comes with a fishing permit. There is no light pollution in the area and therefore the winter nights light up the stars and the Northern Lights. The cottage is spacious with a double bed room and an attic with a beautiful view. Its only 5min drive from town Ólafsfjörđur.

Five double rooms located in newly renovated basement at an old Icelandic family farm, Tjörn. There is a communal toilet, shower and sauna, located in the hallway. There is also a communal cooking/sitting area in the extension of the farmhouse. This listing is suitable for large families and groups of 10 people. Two rooms have queen size beds, suitable for couples and three rooms include two single beds each.
