This place is a gem and if you are in the area book it with no hesitation! On the first floor in a beautiful historycal buildind, the property offers a huge space, beautifully decorated, very confortable, clean and pleasant. From the nice kitchen to the coffee corner in the closed balcony, everything is super enjoyable in this place. The hosts are amazing, they left us a christmas tree with jolly lights inside what a joy this was!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Very responsive host. The apartment is large and we appreciated the space to spread out for a few days. There is a bakery and grocery store almost within eyesight. Takes about one minute to walk there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay, host welcomed us in and was very friendly. She also gave some local tips. The place was spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you need to cook. Beds were comfy and towels and lots of soaps were provided too.

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

Björg is an amazing host! This was such a beautiful home! Everything about our stay was perfect. Extremely clean, breathtaking views of the property, wholesome home, close to all the sightseeing in the area. Laundry on site was great, beds were very comfortable, lots of sitting room and couches to relax and play cards! This stay was one of my favorite parts of our trip, I will always remember how great of a stay this was. We got a flat tire earlier in the day from our adventures but Björg and her husband saved the day by changing our tire for us! Such nice people! Overall our stay was absolutely perfect! We will 100% be back!!

LOVED this place! Apartment was beautiful and clean. We were provided with clear instructions on how to get in as well as photos of the entrances and where to park. The location was perfect with many places to eat right across the street, including a breakfast place that was very good. Was also provided with a list of recommendations which was helpful. It also wasn’t too loud there even with being right in downtown. I would definitely stay here again, I felt very comfortable and it had everything I needed. Thank you!

This apartment was very comfortable and extremely well-organized. We had everything we needed including excellent coffee! The beds were very comfortable and we slept great! Great place to stay to explore northern Iceland. Ragnar provided excellent instructions for everything in the apartment and it was one of the cleanest AirBnbs I’ve ever stayed in. We really enjoyed our time there!

Ein wirklich tolles kleines Apartment. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Saevar hat uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und ebenfalls verabschiedet. Wir waren leider nur kurz zu Gast, haben uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt und würden definitiv wieder kommen.

The Berlin house is a great place to stay. It is very cozy and felt like home. Guðmundur was a good host. One regret I have is staying there with 8 other people as we had to keep quiet as there were other people staying in the same house. Awesome apartment none the less.

Excellent location with lots of space, great for a city getaway in Akureyri. Lots of restaurants close by and very easy to access.

Wir waren zwei Nächste dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Das kleine Apartment hat alles was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Hot Tub und die niedlichen Schafe waren unser Highlight. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und wären gerne noch länger dort geblieben 🫶

it was a cozy place outside of Akureyri. we were there for skiing at hidarfjall and visiting all the northern sites of Iceland. not too far from akureyri where you can easily find enough eating options, groceries and fuel stations yet in a secluded area with a beautiful view of the mountains. house was neat and clean and had 2 cozy bedrooms with adequate heating. the bathroom was a but small but clean and we faced no issues. good place for the view, proximity to Akureyri and to station yourself for skiing nearby at hidarfjall or see all the northern tourist sites which are around 1-2 hrs away by car

We drove all of Ring Road and this was one of our very favorite stops. The home was beautiful, with everything we could need, good quality, comfortable, clean, beautiful view - it really was perfect. We wished we could stay longer. Akureyri is a very nice, super cute town with lots to see and do. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

La mejor anfitriona que hemos tenido en nuestra estancia a Islandia, super atenta y agradable. Nos íbamos a quedar solo una noche pero nos pilló un temporal de nieve y nos permitió quedarnos una noche extra completamente gratis. A la mañana siguiente del temporal vinieron a limpiar os el camino con el tractor y nos ayudaron a sacar el coche. No podemos estar más agradecidos con el trato que nos han dado.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this lovely family home in such a beautiful setting. It was very clean and tidy and Jonas was the perfect host, always attentive to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.
