It’s rewarding to offer this from my home using local ingredients, an idea I helped pioneer with my wife, Linda, since '75. We are forerunners in wine pairings & vanguards in Vermont’s farm to table culinary community which champions local products.
My restaurant career began at the age of 5, frying baloney & cooking minute rice on the radiator plu hanging out in the kitchens of my grandmother & restaurateur grandfather.
As adults we wandered through some grand kitchens in France & Italy where my interest in food reignited.
Our last restaurant, Hemingway's, received many accolades including Top 25 R's in America-Food & Wine Magazine & 50 Most Distinguished R's in the US-Condé Nast Traveler.
