The Local Soul Walking Brunch Tour is for people who love to get the insider's view of a city when they travel. We feature several of the most eclectic neighborhoods and festivals throughout the month. During the tour, you'll be guided through generous tastings at 3-4 locally owned restaurants mixed with exploring popular hotspots in town and historically significant landmarks. Each restaurant stop includes a selection of drinks and dishes within the duration of the tour. You'll leave with a full belly and knowing so much more about some amazing local gems.

Welcome to an adventure lover's tour of local foods in the city! I'm your host, Kiara! I've been proud to call Kansas City my home for as long as I can remember. My favorite things about the city are its museums, historic architecture, fountains, the growing culture of plant based eating, and it being an awesome place to raise kids. I love finding ways to connect with my community on a deeper level, exploring through all the different neighborhoods, and Kansas City's culturally diverse restaurants!
Since 2014, my daughter Lily and I have traveled across the Midwest as family friendly bloggers. We love shining a spotlight on local events, city sights, music, foods, and attractions. I'm so excited for Lunch with Locals to now be one of them! It's such a thrill to show travelers all the amazing sights and tastes I love most here!
