Qué harás

After an initial briefing, we’ll drive our motorcycles about 55 miles (90km) down the federal road before taking an off-road into the forest. While approaching the outskirts of the volcano, you’ll feel the brisk change in weather. And you may also notice the power and stability of our motorbikes. We’ll take in the scenery of the naturally shifting landscapes until we arrive at the the main attraction, the magic Xinantecatl Volcano lagoon. We’ll park our bikes and hike to a place nearby to enjoy the quiet, brisk, beautiful landscape of the countryside. On the way back, we’ll take the highway to get the full effect of our motorbikes.

Simply amazing, especially for causally experiences riders who want to push their limits without any real danger. Moises (and Mauricio) were consummate professionals. The ride there and back was pure joy. I did a similar ride in Cusco, Peru and this was just as rad!!!!

What an amazing experience. For my wife and I, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride motorcycles to the top of a volcano. Our guide (Moises) was a master navigator, without his guidance we would have never found this place on our own. If you have not driven in Mexico City, I highly recommend utilizing the guided tours! A great adventure!!!

Awesome and very unique experience. Be comfortable navigating in traffic and off-road. I am a novice rider but Moises worked with me to make sure I could keep up and navigate difficult terrain. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Today I was on a trip with Moises. It was incredible! I gotta say that I don't have a license for motorcycle, and Moses kindly gave me a ride (I was a backseat passenger). Moises was very friendly and attentive. The impressions, the emotions you get from this opportunity are unlikely to be anywhere else. First, you rush along the track at a high speed and experience incredible adrenaline, while enjoying the city and not being stuck in traffic. Then you drive off-road, contemplating the nature, for some people it may seem a little dangerous, but Moises did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and safe, so don’t worry. As you drive along the country-track, you see exhausted travelers climbing to the top of the volcano, but when you reach the top by a moto with Moises you are full of energy and ready to conque the peak. I advise everyone to go to the top of the mountain with Moises! Then you will get not one, but a lot of experience and impressions!

This is experience was one of my favorites in Mexico. I’ll start by saying that this is NOT for the faint of heart. I have 10+ years of cross country racing experience and 7 on streets, so I’d consider myself an advanced rider, and even I struggled at times. I wouldn’t recommend this trip to anyone that’s not above an intermediate level. You’re weaving in and out of heavy traffic with a large and heavy motorcycle, and once you finally get to the highway, the rocky roads start shortly after. It’s also important to point out that the altitude will probably effect you. You climb quickly to 11,000 feet and descend just as quickly. I was lightheaded during the journey back and had a major headache that lasted 24 hours. I had such bad altitude sickness that I didn’t eat the day after and had a fever that night. I say all of this not to discourage you, but to warn you that altitude sickness is real and that you should take precautions! Moises was a great guide, but I’d ask him to slow it down a little if you’re not wanting to bust a**. There was a few times that he lost me, but he slowed down and allowed me to catch up. Don’t be scared to tell him that you need to take it easier. He told me that going in but I have an ego to maintain... I would recommend this trip to friends and wouldn’t take the experience back for anything!

The experience is thrilling with a pause of pristine nature. With that being said I would recommend this for people who are VERY comfortable on a motorcycle. In order to leave Mexico City you are forced to split lanes beside buses and semi trucks, so that might intimidate some inexperienced riders. The manager of the store was very accommodating and opened up a appointment for me when there was not one shown. I was provided with a nice, clean motorcycle. We got a 300cc model which was a little slow(with two people on it) to keep up with the guides 600cc but it was fun zipping around traffic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to mexico city
