We make vegan dashi (broth) and ramen soup using vegan dashi.
And make gyoza filling, wrap with gyoza wrapper, and fry.

【Notice】
The ramen noodle is premade. I use the dried noodle not include egg and any animal product.
The gyoza wrapper is also premade. We don't make gyoza wrapper from starch.
I will give you the recipe so you can recreate Ramen and Gyoza at your home country!

My name is Sakiko. I am doing the Vegan Japanese cooking lesson in Kyoto.
I use to worked at Japanese Restaurant as a Sushi chef in Walt Disney World.
And now I work at the university as a secretary on weekdays and doing cooking lesson on weekend.
Japanese food is using soup stock made from normally bonito flake so it is difficult to find Vegan Japanese food in Japan.
So I would like to help by educating on high quality, great tasting, healthy, and convenient vegetarian focused Japanese cuisine.

Sakiko's class was really fun, and she was a great host and teacher. She taught us how to make a delicious vegan ramen and gyoza. I came by myself but had a great time chatting with Sakiko and the other 4 guests in the class. Highly recommended!

This was a special highlight of my visit to Kyoto. Sakiko is warm and welcoming. She demonstrates and explains making the dashi, ramen, and gyoza in such a way that it seems so easy, but you taste and see the multilayered flavors coming together to make a perfect meal. I left feeling hopeful that I can make this for family and friends back home. I would highly recommending this as a fun experience for anyone visiting Kyoto!

We loved this experience! Sakiko was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious! She gave us the recipes to take with us, and we felt like she taught us well enough that we can actually make the recipes back home. The location was comfortable and beautiful, and it was just around the corner from Heian Shrine. We would highly recommend this class!

Sakiko-san is the best host you can possibly wish for. She was super kind and I felt welcome from the first moment. We prepared amazing meals, it was absolutely delicious! Also, I have received all necessary information in order to cook the meals again at home. Many people will be very happy about me having taken this class! Highly recommended.
