Hi there! We are Rudy, Lauren and Rory and this is our home. We have a nice little guest room, its clean comfortable and neat in the heart of the west end close to the best cafe's, restaurants, parks and the Kelvinbridge subway! The flat is a social one and bathroom and kitchen is shared! We are all artists working in living in the vibrant Glasgow. All welcome and please write us if you have any questions.
The room is small but contains the essencial, a good bed! The flat is a classic old Glasgow haritage flat so it got a few cracks in the wallpaper and such.

Otago street is a street full of life, one can find here, antiques, retro clothing, music instruments, second-hand records, second-hand books and a tea house for the tea lovers. Further to these, sometimes while walking on the street one can hear the bagpipes, this is because in Otago Street is located the Scottish School of Bagpipes.

Double bedroom in a modern, 2 bedroom terraced house. We're in a quiet area of Glasgow's trendy West-End with great transport links. Our house is well finished with a modern kitchen, dining area & bathroom, plus a comfy lounge. We have gas central heating, double glazed windows and a private patio and garden, which you're welcome to use.
Our home is a modern end of terrace property in the leafy Kelvinbridge area of Glasgow's West end. We're a 2 minute walk from Kelvinbridge Subway Station, which runs a regular service into the City Centre. George Square and the main shopping area of Buchanan Street are 3 stops away; a journey which takes 6 minutes. You could walk it in 35 minutes. The house is situated 2 minutes walk from Great Western Road. The hub of the West End, Byres Road, is a 10-15 minute walk away. In between our house and the Byres Road area, there's a large range of excellent restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and wee shops. Byres Road is next door to the cobbled Ashton Lane, which is home to lively bars, restaurants and a cinema. Our living room has a large comfy couch and there is access to free-view TV. There's a fully equipped modern kitchen and cupboard space for your own food if required. Guests are free use of all the equipment including the toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer. There's also a communal cupboard for everyday items like herbs, spices, sauces, tea and coffee. The bathroom has a relaxing deep bath and an over bath shower. We have a private driveway where you can park your car. In addition, there is also free on-street parking at the end of the street. Please let us know if you're bringing a car. Your bedroom is located at the rear of our house. It has a comfy King Size bed, a built in wardrobe and a comfy armchair. We have a private back garden with grass and patio. It's a great spot in the summer for barbecues or just to sit and read a book.
It's a very quiet street which is walking distance to Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow University and the impressive Kelvingrove Museum. There are great transport links nearby including the subway, which takes you into the City Centre and other areas of Glasgow in a few minutes. Bus stops are on Great Western Road, about 2 minutes walk away. Glasgow offers a huge variety of shopping, culture and gigs. We're a great base to travel further afield around Scotland too. The famous Loch Lomond is only 30mins away by car. Edinburgh can be reached by train in 50 minutes from Glasgow city centre.

The flat in in a beautiful and quiet area and near all the Great Western Road where you can enjoy numerous coffee shops/places to eat. We also have from luxury to low cost supermarkets within 5-10 mins if you prefer to eat in.
West end of Glasgow is the best area to stay as it is surrounded by leafy green parks, museums and great selection of bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. It is also super safe to walk around.

Given the central location to all transport and amenities, it is a quiet flat with double glazing in every room. Kelvingrove Park and the Botantical Gardens are a short walk from us. The motorway if 5 minutes along the road by car and Glasgow Airport is 15 minutes away. Walking into the city centre will take less than 30 minutes - 2 stops on the subway.
Coffee shops, wonderful residents, museums, supermarkets and bohemian shops, superb transport system in front of the door.

THE HAMILTON ROOM: Super comfortable room within my Victorian apartment built in 1855. Near Glasgow University in the heart of the vibrant West End district. City centre 10-15 mins. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen for simple preparation of meals. The rate does not include breakfast but there are lots of places to eat breakfast nearby and guests are welcome to help themselves to the well stocked tea and coffee cupboard and plenty of fresh milk.

There is also WiFi throughout the flat. I also have a travel cot available. Please let me know if you would like this and I will reserve it for your room. WHO LIVES HERE? Other than myself, I have two rooms listed on Airbnb, so I may have guests in the other room during your stay. I also rent a room to an artist friend of mine, which she uses as a painting studio when she is not working as a tutor. PRIVACY & HOUSEKEEPING. I don't enter the guest room during your stay in order to give you privacy. If you are staying for a week or more, I will arrange for a convenient time to clean your room and change the bed linen. Check-in is 14:00 hours onwards and check-out by 11:00. If you would like to arrive before this time, please get in touch and I will see if it is possible. In any case, you can drop luggage off and collect keys earlier if it suits you. After check out, I am happy for you to leave your luggage for collection later in the day if that helps.
THE LOCAL AREA has a good mix of small independent shops and quality high street names. It is a foodies' heaven with two specialist cheese shops, butchers, vegetable and whole-food shops, numerous delicatessens and stores such as Waitrose and Marks and Spencer. There are also wonderfully atmospheric second hand book shops, vintage and retro clothing stores, gift shops, jewellers and of course plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. There are a wide range of places to eat from great value budget to widely acclaimed, well established restaurants. Five of Trip Advisor’s top ten restaurants in Glasgow are within 15 minutes walk. Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the Grosvenor Cinema. Music and plays can be found at Oran Mor, Kelvinbridge and Cottiers theatres and various pubs also hold more informal music sessions. PLEASE NOTE MOST CITY MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES ARE OPEN ON SUNDAYS AND CLOSED ON MONDAYS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF KELVINGROVE MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY AND THE BOTANIC GARDENS WHICH ARE OPEN DAILY. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS INCLUDE: the Botanic gardens with its lovely tea room terrace; Kelvingrove Park with great views from the top of the hill and Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery; Glasgow University and both its Hunterian Museum and Hunterian Art Gallery with its must see reconstruction of the Architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh's house; the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena (I've only ever played table tennis there!) and the River Kelvin Walkway which runs along the river and joins up with the Forth and Clyde Canal and forms part of the Cycle Path Network. A LITTLE FURTHER AFIELD, about 25 minutes walk away, will take you down to the River Clyde. Along the waterfront there is plenty to do from visiting museums (Riverside Museum of Transport, Tall Ship Museum, Science Centre) to attending shows and exhibitions (Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Clyde Auditorium, IMAX cinema) a tour around the BBC Scotland building or even a trip on the Waverley, the last seagoing paddle steamer in the world. In the direction of town you can visit the National Trust Tenement House, Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art and Willow Tea Rooms, as well as a range of art galleries, cinemas, theatres, clubs, music venues and world class shopping!

Well proportioned own room in comfortable flat shared with the host. Shared bathroom with bath and shower. Relaxing, restful, calm space. Only 10 mins walk to Glasgow Uni and 5 mins to Kelvinbridge underground with 3 stops to the city centre. Comfortable for one guest (or two for a brief stay). Friendly cat Pebbles lives here too. The room has a good view. Excellent local shops,restaurants/cafes, pleasant parks, river walkway into the botanic gardens,interesting museums galleries on doorstep.
The room is very self contained having a walk in cupboard with hanging space a comfy desk to study at with a proper ergonomic chair. It also has a comfy chair to relax in with a side table and has great views of the area including the university of Glasgow spires.
Pleasant neighbourhood in the West End of the city. Easy walking distance to all amenities. Handy local shops, good choice of supermarkets, great variety of nice restaurants and bars, museums and galleries. Very close to the Kelvin Walkway. Nice stroll along the river to enjoy the birdlife, the resident heron an occasional kingfisher for the sharp eyed, ducks and squirrels for you to feed along this green corridor into the Botanical Gardens. "Shakespeare in the Botanics" during the summer months and close- by at Oran Mor a "Play a pie and a pint". I could go on - don't hesitate to ask as I can give you up to date information on all the local delights.

Large and comfortable room in fantastic location in Glasgow's West End. Previous guests have been delighted by how quiet the location is, but so close to some excellent shops, cafes and restaurants. University is a 15 minute walk through park. There is free on street parking, which is quite unusual in this area.
Spacious double room in a quiet street in Glasgow's West End. Room has all the character of a typical Victorian Tenement. Bathroom is shared with your host, is not ultra modern, but very clean and functional! The kitchen is large, so plenty of space if you want to cook. Your room has a lovely view across to trees and is south facing. i.e. very light and sunny in morning, weather permitting! PLEASE NOTE, IT IS ON THE SECOND FLOOR, SO BE PREPARED FOR STAIRS. The flat is 10 minutes from University of Glasgow, subway (3 stops to city centre) and 10 minutes to the main street in Glasgow's West End, Byres Road. This is an area of cultural diversity and this is reflected in the variety of restaurants and shops in this area. Kelvingrove Art Gallery is a lovely walk through the park from flat and home to Salvador Dali's most famous painting, Christ of St. John on the Cross. as well as many other works of art by painters such as Degas and Rembrandt. Of course it also has works by Scottish Artists, such as Hornel. There are many good places to eat and I can advise according to your preferences. Guests can help themselves to breakfast at a time which suits them. This includes fresh orange juice, muesli, natural yogurt, toast and fresh coffee/tea. Help yourselves to tea/coffee at any time. There is always a selection of decaffeinated drinks available also. Let me know if you have any preferences for breakfast or have any dietary requirements. Many guests prefer a gluten free option and that can easily accommodated. Check in time can be flexible. Let me know your travel arrangements in advance and I will do my best to fit in with them.
Guests have commented on how quiet this neighbourhood is and yet only 10 minutes walk to the bustle of Glasgow's West End. There is on street parking, which is free. Can get busy after 6pm, but before then is no problem.

This is a gorgeous attic flat with loads of character. Large double bedroom with a hanging rail for your items. There is a dressing table and chair which could be used for a desk. The bedroom door has a lock for privacy. Kitchen has all usual appliances including , Fridge Freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven and gas hob. The kitchen is set for 4 places plus the breakfast bar has 2 stools. The lounge has a large comfy corner couch and Smart TV with Netflix. There is a wood burning stove available to use and a balcony with seating off the living area. The main bathroom is large and has a power shower that is connected to boiler. The bath has the juccuzi facility with 6 jets and there is a TV with Freeview channels for enjoying a relaxing juccuzi bath.
The Property is on Woodlands Rd, in the bustling neighbourhood known as Woodlands. St George’s Underground is minutes walk from the apartment. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area. 10mins walk will see you to popular Byres Road to the West. 10mins walk to City centre. 10mins walk to recently popular Finnistoun area and Hydro events centre.

Its just a few minutes walk from everywhere you'd want to go in the West End - bars and restaurants in Ashton Lane, Botanic Gardens ( a great place for a picnic), Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, SECC is a 40 min walk or you can hire a local bike,Charles Rennie Macintosh House at the Hunterian Gallery,Glasgow University. There is a great buzz on Great Western Road, a simply fantastic location.
The Underground is a great way of travelling into the city centre. Nearest underground station is Kelvinbridge which is 100 metres away. And its convenient for the city centre (half hour walk or a few stops on the underground) or getting out of town and exploring the rest of Scotland. Edinburgh is an easy commute by car ( around 40 mins] or by train (40 min).
