My tenement flat is a 10 minute walk to the SECC, STV, BBC and Film City, Cessnock underground is 3 minutes. Although this is 28 day min stay, there are 1 and 2 day stays available please check my calendar for availability.
The room has a double bed with wardrobe. The window is east facing which is lovely for catching the morning sun.
The area is an inner city neighbourhood, it largely consists of traditional red and sand stone tenement flats. There are some streets which are a welcome surprise, for instance Alexander 'Greek' Thomson's Walmer Crescent at Cessnock underground. The modern developments at Pacific Quay are a 5 min walk, and a choice of 3 bridges to take you over the river - the Millennium and Bell's Bridges are pedestrian only and the Clyde Arc (Squinty Bridge) is a traffic bridge - they all provide access to the west end. Cessnock is a brilliant neighbourhood, it has a diverse population, plenty of budget eateries, friendly and safe, and amazing architecture. Although the close / communal stairwell is tidy, it is in desperate need of a new coat of paint. The flat is warm and comfortable.

The beautiful Kelvingrove Park and a plethora of restaurants, bars and shops are nearby with excellent transport links to the city and beyond. The house is old. Choose another Airbnb if you prefer a fancy hotel type of stay.
PARKING Easy Parking for a small fee directly outside the house. 20p for 30 minutes then 20p for 10 minutes or £6 for a day with a permit (ask me for one - in advance) This property with its own main door is situated on a quiet tree lined conservation area of Glasgow minutes from the beautiful Kelvingrove Park. The building is one of only a few A listed buildings in Glasgow and therefore still has its original features with high ceilings making the place feel very spacious. The building is circa 1850. THE BEDROOM The room is big, 6.5m x 5m approx. It has a lovely super king size bed with a pocketsprung mattress, bedside table, chest of drawers and a comfortable sofa. Newly fitted above the fireplace in front of the bed is a huge 50" Television. If you have your laptop with HDMI let me know and I can also provide you a cable to connect it to the big screen. WiFi is SUPERFAST fibre 80mbit connection THE LIVING ROOM There is a massive 55" Sony 3D LED TV with Chromecast (watch netflix if you have an account) There are big comfy leather sofas and a coffee table. The living room is very large. THE KITCHEN Fully equipped with everything you might need, there is a big american fridge freezer. The cupboards and fridge are always stocked with free coffee, tea and sugar (you may need to buy milk). You have use of all of the appliances such as the cooker, toaster, oven, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine etc and your washing tablets are also included throughout your stay.
SUPERMARKETS A few minutes to Sainsburys, Roots and Fruits and Tescos supermarket. ATTRACTIONS Too many to list, All museums are free in Glasgow, Kelvingrove Art Museum should not be missed and its only 5 minutes away. The SECC, Hydro and Glasgow Science Centre are all very close. Additionally the flat is only a 10 minute walk from the Hydro and SECC for events and conferences.
My flat is a spacious and comfortable 2 double bedroom apartment. The flat is very well lit by natural light throughout the day making it a very pleasant place to relax in. The flat contains a spacious living room as well two bathrooms, meaning any guest(s) using the spare room will have exclusive use of the main, newly renovated, bathroom (bath and shower) offering increased personal privacy during any stay. All the amenities you could want in a modern flat are provided. The newly renovated modern kitchen offers all appliances you would need. At the back of the property there is a large lawn which during the summer is a perfect setting for a BBQ or a spot of sun bathing.
Lymburn Street is situated in the heart of Finnieston in Glasgows' West End just off Argyle Street. The area is a vibrant place to be and there are literally dozens of places to eat and drink within 10 minutes walk of the flat. Finnieston is THE hip Glasgow neighbourhood of the moment: ridiculous supply of bars, restaurants and coffee shops and ideally placed for city centre and loads of tourist destinations!
This listing is for the whole flat (2 bedrooms)! Finnieston... the little bohemian spot nestled between the West End and City Centre that I like to think of as Glasgow's own little piece of New York :-) With its rich shipbuilding history and unbeatable location, there is no better base to explore Glasgow than from Finnieston! Finnieston has an off-beat and laid-back vibe... it boasts some nice street art including a couple of cool murals and is home to The Hidden Lane (the flat overlooks it) which houses artist studios, band rehearsal rooms (both Mogwai and Belle and Sebastian have rehearsed there, indie fans!), a wee art gallery and an amazing vintage tearoom which you must not leave without experiencing! Finnieston has a truly dazzling array of cafés and eateries... from Korean to Thai, Indian, Italian, Greek, Scottish, sushi, tapas, vegan and seafood. It is entirely possible to sample food from a different country every night of the week! And then there's the bars... We have the Ben Nevis which has a great selection of Scotch Whisky and regular live folk music, the Big Slope with it's pub quiz and great food and The 78 which serves up awesome vegan food and music... a dub reggae night on Thursdays and live jazz on Sundays! There is an abundance of attractions all walkable from Finnieston... Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Kelvingrove park, the river Clyde, Glasgow University, the Museum of Transport, the West End and City Centre (both about 10 mins), the SEC and Clyde Auditorium. You can't get much closer to the SEC (unless you opt for a cardboard box in the car park!). It is about 10 mins away by foot and 3 by car. Taxi would be an option too if it's raining or you're in a hurry... The flat itself is on the main road (Argyle St) in a characterful Victorian "tenement" block. It has high ceilings, stripped wooden floors in the living room and hall and all the original features of the period. We are on the 2nd floor (3rd if you're from the US!). Transport-wise, there's a bus stop right outside our door and we're 5 mins walk from Exhibition Centre train station. We are two mins from M8 motorway too but unfortunately the council introduced parking controls recently so you have to pay for parking (ask me about the paid spot close by that we always use). We have wireless internet (WiFi) and cable television. Towels and bedding are provided. So... go on and book your stay today - I look forward to hosting you! The flat is a penthouse-style flat on the 6th floor of the building (don't worry there's an elevator!) It's spacious and has tons of light, which I love. There are great views of the city from the flat too.
The flat is in the trendy Finnieston area, which loads of cafes, restaurants and bars on my street. It's a great location, super close to the City Centre and the West End. The SECC and HYDRO are about 10 mins away on foot.

Conveniently located within 10 minutes walk to Glasgow city centre and approximately five minutes walk to SECC, The Hydro and Armadillo. An exciting location close to Glasgow’s popular hip bars, music venues, coffee houses, restaurants & other social amenities and more to explore.
I would love to welcome you to my cosy flat which is located in a stunning B Listed blonde sandstone building with historical, regional and architectural significance to the local area. The building has a secure door with buzzer entry giving access to a communal hall and stairway to the first floor flat. Internally the property provides a modern, contemporary, spacious and very comfortable living space comprising reception hallway with storage cupboard for luggage , extremely spacious lounge with lovley period large sash & case windows , fully fitted modern kitchen, large bedroom with kingsize bed and plenty of room for cot bed (available) and a modern spacious bathroom. There is a sofa bed and sofa in the lounge for extra guests so it can comfortably accommodate 4 people. All bed linen and towels provided. Please note when selecting 1 or 2 guests i will assume that you will be using the bedroom and no extra bedding required for living room. If two guests booking do require separate bedding then pease let me know at the time of booking. Please note I do not set up the sofa bed ( unless specifically requested) as most check in’s are at 2pm and therefore people would rather make use of the living space as it is during daytime & make up the sofa bed in the evening according to their own time preference. A single folding guest bed is also available should that be preferred to sleeping on the sofa / sofa bed. Again it is left in the hall closet along with spare bedding for you to set up according to when required. Travel cot and high chair available for families. Local amenities within 5 minutes walking distance include ; Tesco Express, All-Day 24 Hr newsagents, and 24 Hour McDonalds. Finnieston is a vibrant and exciting area with a great range of social and cultural attractions. The SECC, Armadillo, Hydro and Science centre are all approx 5-8 minutes walking distance from the flat. Glasgow university is about 10-12 min walk from the flat. Also nearby is an abundance of independent and some very quirky quality shops as well as bars, restaraunt and cafes specialising in national and international food. BBC & STV studios are also nearby walking distance and Nuffield Gym is only a 5 minute walk from the flat. A few minutes walk will take you to the River Clyde for some great walking either into the city or west towards the Riverside Museum, Tall ship, Science centre & Clydeside Distillery. Glasgows main shopping area Buchanan street is approx 15-20 miuntes walk. This is a beautiful, characterful tenement flat in the best area of Glasgow - Finneston was just voted the trendiest place in the U.K. To live! The flat is bright, cheerful & comfy. There's a fully stocked kitchen with cooking equipment, access to wifi & TV. It's top floor, with an amazing view over Glasgow & the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. There's plenty of bus stops, subway stops & partick train st nearby so getting around is easy. It's a 30minute walk or 10minute subway to Buchanan Street & the central city centre shopping area. The hydro & SEC are just down the road and again in easy walking distance so the flat is a great base if your seeing a gig whilst in Glasgow. If you're interested in having an adventure whilst you're in Scotland, my boyfriend Lee is an outdoor instructor so is qualified to lead you up a scottish mountain, take you kayaking on the gorgeous lochs, rock climbing, cycling you name it. My flat is modern and cosy which is important with the Scottish winters! It is bright, clean and minimalist. I live in the flat all the time and will be there during your stay. You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The location is a 7 min walk to SECC and the majority of my guests are conference delegates. Car parking is included which is a huge bonus in Glasgow!
You will have your own double bedroom and private bathroom with shower over bath. Shared areas include the kitchen (with double doors which open to Juliet balcony, a large bright living room with TV, and the entrance hall. I leave basic toiletry supplies, towels and a hairdryer in your room for you and you’ll have access to a cupboard with some basics in the kitchen. The space is adequate for basic food preparation but not cooking as I live here all the time.
The flat is perfectly located on a quiet cul de sac in Finnieston - the Times’ ‘hippest place to live’ in 2017. Set back enough from the busyness of Argyle Street to be peaceful, but just around the corner from some of the best bars and restaurants in Glasgow. My favourites are The Finnieston pub (cosy), Alchemilla (incredible small plates) and Kelvingrove Cafe (great wine list and cocktail menu). I’ll be happy to give you more recommendations especially if you like coffee/gin! I’m within a 7 minute walk of the Hydro and SECC conference centre so perfect for business people. 5 minute walk to nearest train stop (Exhibition) which is a 2 minute train journey from Glasgow Central. Alternatively, the city centre is a 20 minute walk. Nearby bicycle hire is also available. This is the perfect location for exploring Glasgow city centre and the West End. The property includes a private off road car park which is very unusual in Glasgow, where street parking is very restricted.
