The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

Charming Victorian Bungalow with Backyard/Patio

This clean and quaint Victorian Bungalow was originally built in 1902. It has since been lovingly refurbished into a charming and comfortable home with all the modern amenities of today. From the claw foot tub to bathe in, to the fire pit and outdoor patio to lounge outside, just about anyone will enjoy the use of this home for their vacation or work trip. Only 1 mile from Old Town Eureka, and a quick 7 mile drive into Arcata, you can be just about anywhere in Humboldt County within minutes!

The Guest House

Nestled within the Jacoby Creek valley, near Humboldt Bay, with easy access to Arcata or Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers; this Guest House ensures peace and quiet while being only a very short drive to all amenities. The oversized covered front porch provides a weather protected outside living room area, ideal for gathering with friends and to enjoy the ducks and chickens that amble the expansive country yard.

From the deck of this one bedroom architecturally modern space, beautiful bayfront sunsets can be enjoyed. Arcata is a very pedestrian friendly, small town. The suite has a private entrance and is situated at the end of the a quiet street in a upscale, safe neighborhood. We are 5 minutes to shopping and dinning and another five to the fabulous Moonstone Beach.
