Not sure how to find another word than Excellent! All as described, Sally was more than helpful answering all our questions and even organising a shop delivery before our arrival! An absolutely perfect space for adults & children of all ages... I understand the property is a continual work in progress? Well Done Sally... You are definitely going in the right direction. If we have to find a negative, which is unfair really, an extra shower (the one there is perfect!) would be helpful for the large number of us, but we managed with no problems😉😊but am sure that's on your "to do" list 😊 Thankyou Sally... You helped our stay to be FAB 👌🌹

We had such a perfect weekend at the Old Forge which is cosy and full of history. We followed two of the walks from the folder and it was lovely visiting some local villages and pubs. Marianne is kind and thoughtful and offered to help when our dog was stung by a bee on a walk. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend and we felt very at home.

We had a great, restful time here. Lovely layout, nice & big front room, peaceful surrounding. Lived having the chickens and ducks and seeing some beautiful birds. Hosts super responsive and really helpful. Highly recommend!

We had the most magical stay at this stunning countryside home for a bachelorette celebration, hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The house is beautifully designed, warm, and had everything we could’ve needed and more. Set in the most picturesque spot, with rolling field views full of yellow flowers, it truly felt like the ultimate countryside escape. The open-plan kitchen and living area was perfect for our intimate dinner party, spacious yet cosy, and ideal for gathering as a group. Each bedroom had its own charm and was so comfortable and inviting. Outside, the garden was just as beautiful, and the hot tub was a total highlight! The attention to detail throughout the property made it feel really special, and the overall experience felt both luxurious and homely. Communication with the host was seamless and so helpful from start to finish. We’re already dreaming about our return!

very peaceful and scenic location. Dog absolutely loved the run of the surroundings, perhaps worth mentioning to other dog owners about the water 'pools', the dog dived in constantly (he is a big able dog) and so spent much time shut outside until he dried off, although only bathing him would get rid of the stink! Was a lovely open quirky place, the kids LOVED it and by night 2 had be home accustomed to no WiFi 🤣 instead they were playing outside which was perfect.

This is actually my second time and it was a great stay! Communication is great and you get s response within minutes. Lovely location, relaxing and even had a house visitor in the form of a cat!

We had a wonderful stay here, the place was very clean and hygienic. Located in a beautiful area with lots of great places to visit. Hosts were very helpful and placed was well equipped. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

We have just spent a long weekend at Ashmi's lovely house with our children, their partners and our grandchildren. The house was well equipped for all our needs and the welcome pack was well received. We loved the hot tub which we used several times during our stay. We spent a day at Duxford Airfield which is literally 10 mins down the road. If I had to say anything that could be improved it would be that maybe a few more pillows could be provided as some of the group struggled with just one pillow each, but it certainly didn't affect our enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a large house to spend time with either family or friends.

We had a great stay and the place was beautiful, clean and tidy. Tina was really helpful and the welcome goodies were a really kind thought. The enclosed paddock was an added bonus as it was perfect for our dogs, especially as one was recovering from surgery. The only thing I would say is that the road was a little noisy and busy at times and it would have been lovely to have a guide or leaflets about the local area and walks etc but having said that we all had a lovely stay. Thank you Tina.

A beautiful cottage set in beautiful grounds. Perfect for our teenage girls who loved the hot tub and fire pit. Amanda our host was great and very helpful. Would definitely would love to stay again.

Sadly we overstayed our stay by one night by mistake and me Nyree at 11:45pm to explain I had made an error and will settle the following day. we dtripped the beds, put the linen downstairs and the rubbish bags. Sadly we left a window open and left the annexe unlocked but given we left at 7 am and it's a locked gated property we did not think there was any risk. sadly and end of a short break spoilt by the hosts comments given we had only just got home to deal with the outstanding amount.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as brilliant as the first! There is everything you need in the horse box and so much space to play for the kids. We would love to visit again!

We had a lovely 5 night stay. The cottage was comfortable and well furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. There were a couple of low doorways which were fine for me but my husband had to remember to duck. The surroundings were beautiful countryside and the host was friendly and easy to contact with any questions. We would recommend this property.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage in a great location. Very friendly owner and we all felt extremely welcome. Great dog walks from the door, lots of space for children to play and a short walk to the pretty village centre with pubs and amenities. Would love to return.

A beautiful cottage with everything we needed in a peaceful rural environment. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place, great location, extremely well stocked, responsive host and the perfect getaway for our family and dog. The playground was ideal for our 3 year old and a lovely touch being able to collect fresh eggs from the chickens every morning. My only critique would be that there is too much information on how to get there - you can easily just find it with google maps under “the orchard”. The amount of instructions is a bit unnecessary and overwhelming!

This house is absolutely beautiful, so characterful and charming with the most gorgeous grounds and gardens. Jo was an amazing host and so helpful in advance of our trip, providing lots of tips and ideas for things to do in the area. We were 3 families with small children and she provided 2 travel cots and 3 high chairs - brilliant! We will definitely be coming back. The children fed the alpacas, ducks and chickens and played all weekend in the glorious garden.

Jenny is a great host and the place was superb in every respect. It was very cold weather but the place, even with high ceilings, was toasty warm to return to. The milk in the fridge and delicious homemade cake upon arrival was a nice touch. The location is peaceful and yet very close to the airport, you would never know. Our little girls loved the pigs and sheep.

The accomodation is in a peaceful, secure rural location. It is very well equipped and comfortable. Although I was staying by myself, it would have been very comfortable for a couple. I would certainly stay here again if I was visiting the area.

This is the third time we have stayed at Thomas’s place and we had had another great experience. It is a lovely property in the heart of the countryside with excellent facilities.

David’s home is even more beautiful than the pictures. David was excellent to communicate with. Home is in a very nice location, walkable to shops and the local pub as well as being alongside some lovely walking paths. We would definitely recommend!

Second time visiting and was an amazing stay, relaxing and comfortable place and will definitely be back again :)
