Excellent airbnb, in a really cool neighborhood in Arlington. Thomas is a great host, check-in was easy, and everything went smoothly. Thomas even provides breakfast in the morning, which was an unexpected bonus. Its also only a short walk to many cafes and restaurants in Arlington, as well as bus stops where you can take a bus to the red line stations. I had an enjoyable stay at Thomas's house, and would highly recommend his place to others!

My husband and I found this to be a very comfortable place to stay while we were in Belmont taking care of some business and visiting friends. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, the place was fully stocked with everything we needed, and LOTS of breakfast and snack foods were provided by Robin. She even had the gluten-free cereal that I normally eat—could she be psychic? ; ) In addition, she and her husband, Jon, were very friendly, helpful, and responsive without invading our space or privacy in any way—very available, but only when needed. I very much appreciated Robin’s very flexible refund policy as I needed to make a change to our dates a few weeks before our trip and she was very accommodating in this regard. We would definitely stay here again.

Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

I really enjoyed Rajib's place. Just to get it out of the way, the shower in the bathroom is the nicest once I've ever used - skylights with houseplants around - honestly forgot where I was for a few minutes, because it really feels like you're at a resort. Rajib's house is a cosy Victorian on the corner of two cross-streets, has lots of trees and greenery around, is in a nice-quiet neighborhood, and is accessible to the city via the T (shoutout Green Line Extension). It felt like home. There was just the right amount of communication (some hosts inundate you with information), so it was refreshing for everything to be short and to the point. Pippy, the resident house dog, was also very sweet - and sometimes followed me around when I was the only one home at the time.

Hope was a great host to us! She greeted us at the door and made us feel truly at home. She was such a pleasure to talk to and she gave us great insight into the area and recommendations for our time in Salem. Her place was super cozy and unique. I would absolutely recommend for any one traveling to Salem to stay with hope!

It was a perfect weekend getaway for the three of us. The room was comfortable and we were able to play a board game in the common room before turning in. The hosts made good recommendations for stores and restaurants to explore which was appreciated. We’ll be back!

Very timely response once I booked. Someone was waiting outside at night and helped my daughter and I bring in our bags and gave us a tour and let us know some very helpful travel hints to Salem. Would recommend.

The house was owned built by a prominent Gloucester family in 1810 facing the Atlantic Ocean.... Our room had windows facing the Prominade on the surf side and had that wonderful ocean breeze. It's a charming old house with updates over the 200 years... Steam heat... additional bathrooms... asphalt driveway with parking in back....comfortable king bed.

We loved our stay at the Compass Rose. We didn’t really interact or communicate with Christopher, but rather with the Innkeeper, Kim Carrasco. Our review is based on her interactions and response. She was welcoming and wonderful and easily reachable. Earlier that day, we were offered a different larger room that was available, so that was thoughtful and generous. The rooms were clean and quiet. We have a four-year-old and Kim was sweet and playful with him. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. We loved the location and enjoyed the company of the other guest. We would stay here again!

Very friendly Host, everything was clean, the rooms are the coolest I've ever seen - Hope really got an eye for details! To go to the center is around 30 Minutes to walk, else you can get an uber. We felt really welcome and can recommend this AirBnb 200% - it's just an experience itself.

This was a last minute booking (the day before!) because it was too hot to go camping like we had planned. The response was immediate and even though we were passed check-in time, Chris had left us a note with all the information we needed and was quick to contact us when we weren't sure what to do. My husband and I were charmed by this place from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It's historic atmosphere mixed with an aspect of luxury made us feel like we had stepped back in time and were high class. The sheets/mattress/pillows are especially comfortable. The room we were in (The Currier Room) was gorgeously decorated and spacious. Window seats and a small enclosed balcony were perfect for having morning coffee in and enjoying some fresh Massachusetts air. Breakfast in their sun room was the perfect was to start the next leg of our journey.

We came back to the Haskell House for a second time because we enjoyed our first stay so much. You can’t beat the Haskell House for historic atmosphere: you’ll feel as though you’re transported right back to the 1680s in this quiet spot. Though there was the comfort of a tv and a modern kitchen in the ell, as well as a lovely modern bathroom en-suite, we enjoyed talking by (electric) candlelight in our chamber and just enjoying the peace of the evening. We will be back again!

Loved our stay! The house was so warm and welcoming. The room was very cozy. We’d definitely stay again! I wish I would have taken pictures of the gorgeous dining space with the beautiful breakfast spread in the am which was a delightful surprise. It felt like staying with family.
