Vi hadde noen fantastiske dager i den flotte hytta til Heidi, den svarte absolutt til forventningene vi hadde på forhånd. Beliggenheten var perfekt, flott utsikt og som nevnt rett ved oppkjørte skiløyper samt en akebakke som ble barnas favoritt. Hytta er velutstyrt med alt man trenger for oppholdet. Ekstra flott var det med peisen i stua. Vi vil på det varmeste anbefale denne hytta😀

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und haben unsere Freunde mitgebracht, weil es uns schon bei unserem letzten Besuch so gut gefallen hatte. Und unsere Erwartungen wurden wieder voll erfüllt. Die Gegend ist traumhaft schön und wir lieben den kleinen Bauernhof. Die Kinder haben es geliebt, mit Hilfe von Elisabeth auf dem Pferd zu reiten. Die Kanutour war spitze und es war schön die beiden Gastgeber und ihre Tiere wieder zu treffen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Having often spent childhood holidays in this area, it was wonderful to return. I always find it the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy some cross-country skiing in a stunning winter landscape. The cabin’s hillside location provided beautiful views and easy access to several cross country tracks (in summer it is also great for hiking). Inside, everything was tastefully furnished and the kitchen was wonderfully equipped, making our time there both comfortable and cozy—especially when we gathered by the fireplace. A special thank you to Gry, our host, who was especially friendly and responsive. We also really appreciated the electric car charger available at the cabin— a great plus that made our trip even smoother. I’d highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful hillside retreat.

Unsere Zeit in der Hütte war wundervoll. Kristin hat uns herzlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Bei Fragen war sie immer gut erreichbar. Die Ruhe mitten in der Natur ist wunderschön und die Nachbarn sind auch sehr freundlich. Die Umgebung ist toll zum Ski-Langlaufen oder Spazierengehen. In der Hütte wurde es immer schnell warm mit dem Kaminofen. Die Möglichkeit Strom über Solar zu bekommen hat gut funktioniert, aber wir mochten es lieber nur die Kerzen zur Beleuchtung zu nutzen. Danke für alles, wir kommen gerne mal wieder! :-)

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Fin hushytte i nærhet av fiskevann og marka. Vi var 3 stykker, og hadde mer enn nok plass til oss. Stor oppkjørsel, så har kan man fint få plass til flere biler enn vår ene også. Verdt å kommentere at fryseren er markert som privat. Heldigvis hadde ikke vi kjøpt inn noe som trengte å fryses, men synes det var litt underlig å ikke ha fryseplass. Utleier har vært smarte og satt opp en liten «kiosk» på vaskerommet hvor man kan skaffe typiske ting man glemmer før hyttetur, men akkurat håndtørkle og håndsåpe mener jeg burde være standard inventar

Et drømmehus! Det var en fantastisk uke i disse veldig fint og smakfull innredet hus! Kjøkken veldig god utstyrt, alt fungerer godt. Det er en stor glede å lage mat! Stort baderom med dobbeldusj og varme fliser i lys farger. Flere sitteplasser ute. God beliggenhet i lys furuskog med utsikt til Femunden. Veldig rolig med kort vei til Femundstrand. Koselig å sitte ved peis i kveld! Huset var varmt når jeg kom. Eier har svart veldig fort og var veldig vennlig og ukomplisert. Flere muligheter for (ski- og fot-) turer. Butikk i Elgå har alt man trenger… Der må man absolutt komme igjen!!

Catching last winter vibes with sauna, cozy cabin with fireplace and even Northern Lights was dream come true. Cabin was very spacious, nice, clean and comfortable. Aud -Lise was really friendly and answered fast. She gave us great recommendations for hiking and skiing around the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed with two adults, a child of 7 years old and our bordercollie in Anders wooden cabin. We loved the simplicity, getting fresh water from the stream. In the beginning it seemed a pity we didn't had a warm shower. But because of that we enjoyed jumping in the little creek and washing our hair with warm water next to the creek. I promise you a fresh kick start of the day. You have access to a toilet which is clean and a washing table with warm water. Also you can boil the water in the kitchen. Because the cabin is just slightly different this way, you become more creative. The sun is warming up the veranda in the morning, so we had breakfast outside a couple of times. Do clean up because there is a giant ant pile next to the cabin, but by paying attention it did not bother us. We hiked up the mountain and we drove to different places, also to Sweden to hike with reindeer. Bring your own sleeping bag. the place has woolen blankets but no sleeping blankets. The only disadvantage I can think of is that we didn't see any wildlife close to the cabin, except for some hawks, and a squirrel. I would recommend this place to find rest and quietness. Superbly located to start hikes in the area. Very calming views. No kitchen as listed, so a bit difficult to cook, unless you want to use microwave and you would have to have your on container for cooking in themicrowave. Grilling options are good. Would return next time if travelling without smaller kids.
