Stayed at a few of Allen’s places. Always a great experience. This one was particularly beautiful. Amazing view. Always responsive. Building Security the best. Hot water reliable, Enoch is always iffy in Colombia. My new go to for return trips.

This place is 100% as advertised. Excellent views, great restaurants and shopping in walking distance, and generally pretty easy to get a ride share outside of rush hour. Short ride to Provenza/Lleras/Poblado/Manila. These areas are potentially walkable, if you are comfortable with Colombian sidewalks. (I…am…not.) Rappi is an excellent and loyal friend to have. Be aware there there is no working pool, turbo, or jacuzzi, but the rooftop space is peaceful and provides excellent views of the valley. Any issues experienced were minor and for the most part addressed. The shower is a bit tricky and most often will provide you the hot water you need with a little finagling. WiFi is pretty fast and generally stable, although it does need an occasional reboot. There’s also one particular yellow-bellied bird neighbor who likes to pop in regularly for morning coffee or afternoon tea on the balcony (whichever one you happen to be on). I stayed a couple of months and would stay here again.

Ivan was great, responsive and generally a nice guy. The unit itself is very unique, spacious and comfortable. Great indoor outdoor use of space. It’s loud at night because the apartment is just at the top of the strip. but with white noise it’s all good. Location is very central to the nice part of Medellín. Great spot overall. Everyone was happy

I booked Wouter's place to stay with some friends. Awesome decision. Place was like something out of a movie. Wouter himself was great and I now consider a friend. He made me feel confident my friends and I would have everything we needed. We all worked digitally off the same wifi with no problems ever. Place was designed free flowing not needing AC, but AC was available ice cold if wanted. I did not realize how convenient having a fully functional garage would be. Not having to worry about parking was great. Bought some flowers to pick up my friend from the airport and of course the perfect vase was in the cabinet. There are exotic colorful birds that can be seen in the yard all the time. The entire yard and jacuzzi was private. Amazing restaurants right across the street. I will be back soon and will plan my travels around Wouter's availability.

We could not have asked for a better experience. From beginning to end, Lina and her parents were very helpful and kind. The home and the yard were exceptionally beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed a wood-burning fire every night on the patio, our favorite way to end every day. It was a short easy walk to the local shops, restaurants, and bars. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who enjoys serenity, local life and adventures. Thank you Lina, Jairo and Maragarita.

Apartamento muy acogedor, y ubicado en un excelente lugar, súper cerca a todo y con linda vista… súper recomendado

El lugar es tranquilo, muy cómodo, con lo necesario para pasar un buen momento en familia. Tanto la Anfitriona como la cuidadora de la finca son personas muy atentas y dispuestas.

La estadía fue muy agradable, el contacto es 24/7 y súper amables. La casa es súper linda, cómoda y su vista que es inigualable. Sin duda puedo volver!

If you are looking for an out of the way escape from the city and a real country or “finca” experience, this is your place. However, I would recommend driving or renting an SUV with decent ground clearance. The place is very easy to find with Waze GPS or Google Maps by searching “Hato the Farm”. No four wheel drive needed, but the dirt road to the place has spots where a low car will definitely scrap bottom if you’re not careful. The dirt road is maintained and used by the municipality and locals, so it’s not impassible. We rented a car at the airport to get there, and everything went well, but if you’re not used to dirt roads and winding roads, this will be a learning experience! :-) The place itself was an open floor plan with plenty of space to sleep 12+ people. Everything was clean and well maintained and the local caretaker (Sonia) was extremely sweet and helpful for all our needs. If you’re lucky and nice enough :-) , she can point you to local spots for swimming and hiking that are off the beaten path and empty of people, but full of amazing views, cold mountain water for swimming, and a true Colombian countryside experience that was enjoyable and as safe as any place I’ve visited. The local tienda (general store) will deliver without cost of delivery for whatever food and drink you need, although tipping the delivery boy is a good idea. The property had many different varieties of fruit trees, which we were invited to pick for super and delicious fresh orange juice in the morning or whatever else you can pick. Overall, staying in Manuel’s place was an amazing and relaxing experience and we will return and rent the place again! Although, we’ll make sure to get a vehicle with higher ground clearance for the road up.

Lugar especial y amigable, excelente para pasar con la familia o amigos. Nos recibieron bien y atentos a nuestras peticiones, un buen lugar para regresar.

Jeison súper amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, lugar muy agradable y limpio, coincidió con las fotos y la ubicación excelente para recorrer Guatapé caminando, nos facilitó parqueadero al lado del alojamiento, en general excelente opción

excellent! very calm , and amazing environment. there is a small river under the house , everything is so amazing! there is also this neighbor (?) who helps us during our stay , a very nice person with a very friendly dog :) The only problem is that the access is not easy if you don't have a car or bike. especially when we stayed, the road to enter guatape was blocked, so no tuktuk or taxi was on this loop road. From guatape or the piedra, it's easy ( although we needed to pay twice from guatape because the nearest way the road is closed) but I guess in normal time there is no such problem :) anyway it was an amazing experience!

La ubicación ofrece vistas espectaculares mientras mantiene una perfecta tranquilidad. El espacio estaba cuidadosamente equipado con todo lo que necesitábamos para una estancia confortable, haciéndolo sentir como un hogar lejos de casa. Estar cerca del pueblo fue una gran ventaja, ya que podíamos conseguir fácilmente cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. La atmósfera tranquila combinada con la comodidad hizo que esta estancia fuera particularmente especial. Muy recomendable y don Jorge atento a cualquier inquietud.

Alejandro greeted me upon my arrival, showed me around the apartment, and gave me clear instructions. He was polite and friendly. The apartment smelled great upon arrival and was well-cleaned. The photos are accurate and overall a great value for your buck, keeping in mind that can accommodate several people. Alejandro was very responsive at all my questions and also, was flexible at my departure. The location is probably the only downside in the sense that is far from the closest metro station. It has everything you need for daily living.

Beautiful apartment, clean and spacious, the apartment is actually bigger than I thought. from the check-in to the check-out everything was great. the building is beautiful, safe, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great apartment for work from home, good internet, has nice desk for work. the apartment has everything you need for long stay. I highly recommend

The place felt like being home with tons of interesting items throughout the house and beautiful landscaping. There were many unique places to explore and multiple activities to do. Thanks for checking up on us from time to time.

5 stars. Clean. First class. Looks like the pictures. Plenty of extra linens. Confortable bed. Full amenities in the bathroom Outstanding buiding security. Identification required for all who enter. Excelllent restaurant on 4th floor right next to the pool. Gym is adequate and functional. Pool is open until 10pm. This may be the best Airbnb stay that I have ever had.
