This house is absolutely beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the ability to see all of the stars without extra ambient light sources. The smores fixings that were provided was a very nice touch. We loved the quiet location, but some might find the distance from the nearest town (about 15 minutes) a slight negative. We personally loved driving through the beautiful countryside, seeing the Amish with their horse drawn buggies and just planned our activities appropriately so we were able to get the supplies we needed when we were near a town. The perfect way to stay along the beautiful upper Mississippi River. There is a direct view of the main channel from the cabin where we could watch river barges churning by occasionally and all the various birds. This location offers easy access to the effigy mounds monument park and Praire du Chien as well as other small river towns. It’s a taste of the river rat life with all the amenities. The lower patio at river level with the hottub was our choice hangout spot.

Bill and Nicole's house is immaculate and very centrally located in Decorah. They have thought of everything you might need for a stay and keep a very clean and attractive house. The walkability is excellent; easy access to the grocery store, coffee shop and several very good restaurants. With a little bit more walking it's easy to get to Pulpit Rock Brewery (excellent) and several more restaurant choices. The hosts are very responsive - we had a few questions about the house and they answered immediately. Overall this is is a fantastic place for a stay. Highly recommended.

Our stay in the House made for a great weekend the view was excellent the house was very accomodating and our host was helpfull answering any questions. We would definently stay here again.

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

Wonderful spot to stop for a business trip. I like getting off the beaten path every once and while, and Gabby's place was a perfect fit. Hot tub was HOT, and the bed was maybe the most comfortable that I've slept in a very long time.

The pictures doesn’t do this place justice. It is not only beautiful and private but the house had everything we needed. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is the place to go. I would highly recommend this place to any couple or a group of friends.

As advertised. Very conveniently located in viroqua, walkable distance to many amenities (coffee shop, fly shop, groceries, Walgreens). Nice central place to rest after fishing.

As we are not real techy, we had a little trouble with the lock and the TV, but Grant came over and helped us! We enjoyed meeting both him and his fiancé!!
