The location of the flat is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town. Edinburgh Castle is a short walk away and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and all the necessary appliances were available, including a washer/dryer. Mr. Shahid is an excellent host, he had all the information available in a binder inside the flat and he was quick to help us with anything we needed. It was our first time booking an Airbnb and we were beyond satisfied! We recommend it without a doubt!

Lovely place within walking distance to arthurs seat! Jonny was a great host and made us feel right at home.

We had a great stay here, the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people, it’s very clean, very cosy, home from home feel to it! The tram stop is a quick 5 minute walk, super handy and easy to access the city centre. There is an Aldi next door and the kitchen in the apartment is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you could need. Would 100% stay here again for a future Edinburgh trip!

Very walkable. Literally right off the Royal Mile. Many street performers close by. Restaurants and shops close by. 10 minute walk to the castle. Someone with accessibility issues may have issues. Hill up to Royal Mile which is cobblestone and a bit steep. Other than that it’s a wonderful place in a wonderful location. Definitely recommend.

I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

The location was absolutely perfect! Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. Beds were very very comfortable!

We stayed in Elizabeth’s place for our first couple of nights in Scotland. It was perfect and exactly what we needed! She was extremely accommodating to an early check in and met us right when we got there with instructions. The area is perfect and just a short walk to old town, new town and Stockbridge. Close to deans village! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean!

Pauline est accueillante et attentionnée. Son appartement est grand, bien disposé, propre et bien équipé. L’arrivée sera encore plus agréable dès que les travaux de rénovation de la cage d’escalier (travaux qui sont en cours) seront terminés ! Un petit séjour avec ma fille de 18 ans dans un petit village très accueillant et facile d’accès par bus ou à pied à partir d’Édimbourg . Nous avons fait des belles balades au bord d’un lac et une rivière . Beaucoup de verdures et des grands parcs . Des pubs restaurants et supermarchés sont à proximité avec des gens très sympathiques . L apartment au 3 iem étage est très confortable ,cosy , calme et lumineux. Erin nous a offert un séjour inoubliable avec des bonnes adresses , des bonnes idées et sa réactivité et gentillesse nous avaient touché . Un grand merci et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir 😁

Had a fab few days staying here. Annie was a super host. Very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend this as a great place to stay for a visit to Edinburgh.

Fantastic spot to stay during a visit to Edinburgh, very easy to travel and see the city from and lots of options close by for stocking up or eating/drinking out. Rooms were lovely and Axel accommodated us perfectly to suit the needs of those of us staying, cannot recommend more for those in a group or family and the tram is close by to make the most of your time in such a nice city.

A warm and spacious apartment, exactly the centrally located staging point for our visit to Edinburgh. There was a clear day view of the Firth over Leith Street from the living room. But also a bright and easy to use kitchen; a well lit bathroom and shower; and a lovely little desk nook if you need to set up a laptop (with WiFi access made simple with clear instructions and a memorable password). The apartment was also roughly equidistant in terms of walking to the places we wanted to visit (down Leith; to the farther reaches of Princes Street; across the bridge from the Royal Mile). We stayed here for two months. It is a fantastic neighborhood and a very comfortable flat. Hanna was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The flat itself is clean, bright, with enough space for two people. Though the shower is small, it is definitely big enough for an average sized person to comfortably use. I stayed here with a friend and so utilized the sofa bed the entire time. Both beds were good! I would note to anyone staying that there are some building noises in the main room (not from other tenants, but pipes, heating, etc.) and so wouldn't recommend the sofa bed to a super light sleeper - the bedroom is very quiet though. The location is ideal, very safe with easy access to all Leith Walk has to offer, and walkable to New and Old Town or out to Leith. The tram stop is also very close by. We loved our stay here and were sad to say goodbye to the flat. Hanna is a wonderful host! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We had a great stay at Ollie's apartment in April 2025. It's very close to Haymarket station, and all the amenities you need are on the doorstep. The flat is clean, tidy and secure, and it was great to be able to use the pool next door. We'd love to stay again!

Alan is a friendly host, and was very helpful when we needed anything. The place was super clean, the room was a perfect size for 2 people. The area is good, with groceries stores around and a couple of buses that take you central in 25-30mins. Overall, really enjoyed my stay!

A great base for golf at Gleneagles and the surrounding area. Really comfortable apartment with all you need for self catering. Spot on communication from the hosts made for straightforward check in and out. Would happily recommend.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Ollie is very friendly and good host... He inform us about everything in good time, lovely flat and good area... Recomend!

My husband and I had a relaxing stay in this beautiful apartment. We felt at home and didn’t want to leave. The setting was very tranquil with lovely riverside walks on our doorstep and less than 10 minutes walk to Dunblane cathedral. The onsite swimming pool and sauna was a plus for me too. There were plenty of private parking and Dunblane railway station is around a 10 minute walk away. The guidebook is very extensive and useful. Communication was excellent and we look forward to our next visit.
