John is an amazing host, he was very accommodating whenever we had any needs, he was always kind and gracious. He even arranged wifi to be installed during our stay. He went over and above to make sure our stay was a wonderful experience. His wife is an amazing cook so we ordered food several times, and she was always smiling and helpful. The property is in a lovely location with a beautiful garden and mountain view. The amenities covered all we needed and is spacious. During my stay I had an accident while away from the property and John and his wife came to visit me in the hospital to check I was OK and had all I needed. I would definitely stay there again and feel happy to highly recommend this airbnb. Thank you John it was a pleasure getting to know you and your wife 😀

Wir haben uns in "Besides still waters" sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne Lage und es ist ein kleines Paradies am Nil. Sie hat eine sehr schöne, ruhige und gastfreundliche Athmosphäre. Sue hat immer sehr freundlich und zeitnah mit uns kommuniziert und ihr Manager Johnson und seine Helfer haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Das Fischessen am Feuer und das Frühstück mit Blick auf den Nil waren wunderschön. Genauso die liebevoll eingerichteten Zelte. Es war schön, dort im Zelt und auf der Terasse den Blick auf den Nil zu genießen und den zahlreichenVogelstimmen zu lauschen. Herzlichen Dank, Richard, Sue und Johnson für das schöne Erlebnis!!!

John Paul and his mom were great hosts! Welcoming, supportive, and communicative- I'm glad I was able to spend a night at their place in Jinja. Comfortable bed, and easy access to the city. Thank you!

We felt right at home with Jerry and his lovely family. The compound was beautiful, really well kept and the team there were friendly and helpful. There was so much space for my children to safely roam so we were able to relax. Really grateful for the laundry service as Uganda is very dusty. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was quiet and we slept really well. There is a high level of security around the clock so we felt very safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb from November 9th to 12th, providing me with the perfect retreat during my visit to the Nyege Nyege event. Although my original plan was to check in on the 9th, I unfortunately couldn't make it until the 10th. The host was incredibly understanding and accommodating, making my check-in process seamless. I felt secure throughout my stay, thanks to the secure access to the property and the host's commitment to ensuring a safe environment. The host's communication was exemplary. They were prompt in responding to my messages. In summary, my stay at this Airbnb greatly enhanced my Nyege Nyege experience. The comfort, convenience, and hospitality exceeded my expectations. Amazing place to stay with friends. The garden is huge! You are surrounded by nature, with access to the Nile. You can easily go for a swim, kayaking or a walk along the Nile. The staff were very warm and helped us to organise bodas. The place supports community projects which is definitely a plus when booking! I definitely recommend the place!

What a beautiful place this was! The home was very comfortable. Lawerence and his staff were helpful. Kerah found us a local guide who took us on a local coffee tour-was amazing. The hike of 3 waterfalls was breathtaking! It was such a great visit and I’m blessed to have found this stay. Felt safe and secure. Hope to return again. Highly recommend!
