This cabin was absolutely amazing. If you have children this is a great place to stay. All the. Things you could need for a toddler and below were available. Additionally things you might need for bigger kids were available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Incredible place. Really loved the quirkiness of the house- so many books and so much character. Felt like I was home!

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. Tom and Becky were incredible hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our first trip with our 3 month old baby! They were incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for activities, restaurants and the like. The house was so cozy and welcoming and had a well-stocked kitchen that came in handy for food preparation! We’re live this area and Idaho and would definitely stay again.

We had a small group stay at Dave and Satu's place. 5 adults fit comfortably and it was as described. We were able to enjoy our weekend in comfort and had a good time together. All of the listed amenities were in the home and allowed us to enjoy the space. We were able to utilize the electronics without issue and clear instructions allowed us to get the heating system working and set to comfortable temperatures. Any issues were handled thoroughly and Dave and Satu were very respectful hosts. The only small criticism is that we would have liked more communication as some questions about our check out date did go unanswered after a few asks, but nothing that was critical to our trip overall, and we understand that our hosts were in a different time zone while we were staying with them. The trip was wonderful and Dave and Satu provided everything we needed to have a fun weekend trip with our friends. Very grateful to them for allowing us to use their home!

Beautiful cabin with everything you need to enjoy some quiet time. Clean, comfortable, and plenty to do all around from skiing in the winter to golf in the summer. Do not hesitate to book.

Just like other reviews have said, pictures do not do this beautiful space justice. The bed was very comfortable and the wood stove was excellent. Some extra amenities included 40L of water, a very nice cooler, plenty of firewood, a towel for the outdoor shower, and a clean and well stocked porta-potty. The cabin also came with some grilling utensils, two pans, a kettle, and a french press. We wished we had brought more of a camp kitchen (plates, bowls, silverware), but otherwise this space was perfect. Bring binoculars if you want some excellent bird watching! We can't wait to visit again.

We had a great time. The cabin was everything we had hoped for. So much wildlife, deer, turkeys, quail. In the yard! Cabin stayed very warm despite 20 degree weather. WiFi worked great.

This place was perfect for our quick getaway for mom, dad, and to kids. Close enough to Cascade to get their quickly, but far enough that you feel like you're getting away from it all for a bit. Shared driveway is sheer ice in the winter, so be careful walking (my yak tracks were put to good use). Hosts do a great job with snow/ice removal on stairs and front deck. Might be a little tricky to find after dark, but Apple and Google maps are accurate. Easy to get in, and hosts are very responsive and friendly! Great stay!

Perfect for our one night stay in Bend

My partner and I can’t get enough of Squirreville—it’s our go-to escape from the “real world.” The moment we step into the cabin, we’re wrapped in this incredible sense of warmth and ease. The property itself is stunning, and the landscapes beyond are breathtaking. Cam and Christine are the kindest hosts—always so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure every guest feels right at home. It’s pure magic every time we visit- I cannot recommend this place enough!

The cabin was great, it was exactly what we had been hoping for. Mark was a very communicative host and answered all of our questions quickly!

This is a super comfortable and well stocked home. We enjoyed the convenient location, close to a bakery, pizza place, fine dining, Pyette Lake, and other shops. The local skiing and hot springs were awesome. The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the pellet stove! The only weird thing was you have to walk through 1 room to get to the other. The bathroom was off the 2nd room and it was not very private walking into and through each others rooms. This is not something that can be easily changed but renters should be warned if privacy is important. The hosts were great communicators.

Wonderful place! Very private, beautiful scenery. Cozy with all the necessary comforts of home. Saw tons of wildlife. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

This was a great rustic cabin that had everything we needed for our family. It's only 10 minutes away from Tamarack and close to boat launch, sled rentals, and 15 minutes to McCall. Quiet residential street and neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again!

Elk Ridge Cabin is such a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the rush of life, and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodlands and lakes in the immediate area. The green yard with its live pond is utilized by many birds, chipmunks and squirrels. They were very entertaining as I sat under the pine trees next to the pond. What a great place to spend refreshing days and evenings for a relaxing vacation!

This place is close to town, ponderosa state park. The kitchen is well stocked with cabinets labeled. Kevin was very responsive. The house has a good local McCall vibe and cabin feel. We had an extra family in an RV in the driveway which worked well. The only con was the "3rd bedroom" in the house is actually the dining room (complete with table) with a twin bed in the corner. There are no doors, so It is open to the living room and sitting room. The bathroom is attached there too, so their is little privacy.

This was a quick stay for my husband and I while we checked out the Goldendale observatory. The cabin was so cute and cozy! Had all that we needed and then some. If you visit when the temps dip below freezing, know that the bedding is extra warm because the propane heater shuts off after an hour or so. Will be back for sure!

Great location, clean comfortable place to chill at. Everything was great Julie is sweet and communication was to par. Just wish we could've enjoyed the property more but there was a ton of snow so that was expected for time of yr. Definitely will try in summer time!!!
