We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

The property is most definitely worth the money we had a lovely time in rose cottage it was comfortable clean and very easy to stay in our dogs loved it and so did we the hot tub and welcome hamper was lovely Tony was on hand through out the holiday thank you it was lovely we will be back if you will have us 🥰

We would definitely recommend this Air BnB, it is in a very private and peaceful area and the BnB itself was very clean and tidy. Upon arrival we were met by the host, who messaged us earlier on in the day to give us clear instructions on how to get to the correct location. The host introduced himself and showed us around the Air BnB, explaining how different amenities within the BnB worked, which made for a much more comfortable stay. The host was very kind, polite and welcoming, and was very happy for us to contact him incase there was anything we may need during our stay; he was also very helpful when recommending the best way to access the city centre from the air BnB. Just back from the most relaxing weekend we’ve had for a long time. Gemma’s cottage is beautiful. It’s clean, modern and has everything you could ask for. We visited the pub opposite for meals and everyone was so friendly. We just loved our time there! Gemma is a great host, she is responsive and so kind. When we’ve stopped in other places the rules what you can and can’t do are sometimes quite off putting (I understand it’s your home and you want everyone to respect it though) Gemma is so laid back and this I think makes you respect the space and house more (well id like to think most people are the same as us) so we felt very relaxed. The hot tub is great and amenities. We are definitely coming back for another relaxing weekend. Thank you Gemma xx

The cottage was lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious and warm. The real selling point for us though were all of the activities available on site. More than we got value from to be honest and a future stay would be longer. Perfect escape opportunity for a group of families as you have your own space but also plenty of communal areas and lovely grounds. Also not far to Malton. Pretty town and well served by independent shops/cafes as well as supermarkets.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here recently and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is set in a beautiful location with amazing views and lovely decor. The hot tub and the wood burner were lovely touches and made our stay very comfortable and cosy! It's situated in a great place if you're planning to explore the nearby towns and cities too. The house was very clean and had lots of room . We loved the hot tub and the BBQ. The house was on a small housing estate backing on to a field. Good for a girls catch up get away. The outdoor space and furniture was tired … but it is early in the season . Good value and well placed to visit York.

We had a lovely short stay. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. Great quality furnishings and toiletries. The kitchen literally had everything you could ever need. The breakfast hamper was a thoughtful and much appreciated addition, the homemade rocky road was delicious. Our dog felt at home straight away and enjoyed his walks around the lovely estate. Elley and her husband were the perfect hosts, available but gave us our privacy too. We look forward to visiting again soon.

A fabulous stay once again in this beautiful cottage. Lovely village with a brilliant pub, so peaceful with great walks, perfect to meet up with family and dog friendly too, couldn't wish for anything more! Many thanks and hope to see you again!

I brought the break as a 70th birthday gift for my Mother and she thoughroly enjoyed the break, she said it was exactly as described and Liesa was friendly, welcoming and gave them recommendations for dinner. The property is in a great location to explore and managed to visit a few national trust venues, She loved the welcome bits when they arrived and overall had a brilliant stay. Thank you :)

This was a perfect location to explore York and the local area. It’s only a short distance to the park and ride and also ideal as a base to explore Milton and Pickering. There were clear instructions on how to find the property and lovely scones on arrival. It was lovely place to stay with everything we needed. I’m certain we will stay again.

We had a great couple of nights in Lindsey's cottage. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was great for anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are really steep. We had everything we needed. There's a lovely walk from the door through the fields to the beach (about 15 mins) or you can walk down the road through the holiday park to the beach (about 10 mins). The pub next door was handy and there is a games room that the kids enjoyed. There are no shops within walking distance apart from a farm on the way in which has a vending machine where you can buy meat, milk and eggs so bring supplies with you. Easy 10 minute drive into Bridlington. Very dog friendly with nice garden.

We had a lovely weekend break at primrose cottage! So clean and had everything we needed. The beach and restaurant recommendations from Sam were really helpful! Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing stay and a fantastic host! The place is spacious, clean and located in a truly idyllic location. I was there with my husband and 4 children and found it more than spacious enough for all of us. The garden is also beautiful :) Fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you, David!

Lovely cottage , matched description given, lovely tea /coffee / chocolates on arrival . There was clear instructions and Tony was very good with getting back to me with any questions. A gem of a place we would love to come back and stay again

We loved staying in Fran’s cottage. So cosy and had everything we needed for a few days away. We had easy (driving) access to York whilst being in a very quiet, beautiful village. The cottage was clean, and comfortable. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet get away.

It’s a wonderful little cottage, very stylishly decorated and in a very pretty little village. Nic is a great host.

Fantastic place to stay , Louise was welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. Nice location in the countryside and quiet.

This was a fantastic property and was crisp and clean. We were only in the area for a day and it more or less suited our needs. The check in was easy and Kate, from the shop, very pleasant. There was a nice breakfast basket waiting for us and it was lovely and warm. The 2 bedrooms and en suites are almost identical - I didn’t find the pillows very comfortable as they were a bit thin. It was disappointing there wasn’t a walk from the door where we could take the dogs as the main road was too busy. Some lovely walks nearby though so I wouldn’t entertain paying the £5 to hire a fenced field, that was offered.

Semi-rural. No pub or shops near the village where the accommodation is - but within 10 minutes drive of Selby and York Outlet . Long country road to the house but adds to the journey - lovely drive through some woods and fields. Quiet. Judy is very helpful, funny and a warm friendly person. If you need advice on local area she is very approachable.

We had a lovely Easter at the cottage with our two teenagers. We visited all the local beaches, and also Hornsea, Bridlington and Danes Dyke. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. It's a short 3 mile drive to Hornsea and if your a runner like me it makes a perfect 5k with all footpaths and slightly down hill the whole way. The pub is only a stones throw away. We all enjoyed the pub quiz which is every Saturday at 7:30pm.

Guy’s cottage is a great location, as you do get the countryside feel but you are still a short drive away from York City Centre (especially to two of the park & rides) and retail parks. The cottage itself is well decorated with high standard appliances, with lots of personal touches such as farm eggs, and apple juice to mention! I would stay here again if I was to visit York, but would throughly recommend to others to stay.
