We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood right by a peaceful waterway—such a lovely spot to wake up to. Getting into the city was super easy; we hopped on public transit and were at the Royal Mile and the castle in no time. It was great to have that balance of being close to all the sights but still able to come back to a calm, cozy space at the end of the day. Communication with the host was great too—quick and helpful, which made everything really smooth. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with plenty of space, nice and clean. Amazing seaside views and round the corner from the high street. Would love to stay again!

Ricky's place was great - quiet, comfortable, everything we needed for our stay. We chose to stay in Leith as we wanted to be a bit out of Edinburgh and had our campervan with us, so it was great to be able to get there really easily and use the parking. The flat is in easy walking distance of really good restaurants, cafes and pubs. Ricky's recommendations are really good - we loved Domenico's for dinner (we booked in advance). Toast was great for brunch (over the water, 5 mins walk). The tram was brilliant way to get into Edinburgh and the stop is just round the corner.

Enjoyed a great short stay at Harbour’s Edge. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of 4. We loved the central location and the view out the front was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit.

Wir haben die Einrichtung, die Lage und den Ausblick der Wohnung von Chris und Erin sehr genossen. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt Auch durften wir unsere Koffer noch ein paar Stunden in der Wohnung lassen, da an dem Tag keine Nachmieter kamen. Wir fanden nur, dass für insgesamt 6 Erwachsene die Schlafverhältnisse etwas beengt waren und es gab wenig Ablagefläche in den Zimmern. (Eine Garderobe im Flur wäre schön). Die Kommunikation war anfangs schleppend und die Check in Informationen bekommt man recht zeitnah vor der Check in Zeit. Wen das nicht stört, der wohnt in einer schönen, besonderen Wohnung mit fantastischer Lage 😘

Jean's apartment was a lovely place to stay for a chilled and relaxed break away. The East Neuk is a beautiful area of Scotland and Jean's apartment showcased Pittenweem very well: great sea views from the kitchen, the living room (both seating areas), and from one of the bedrooms. The apartment features a good kitchen (well equipped) and some cute furnishing throughout. Clean and comfortable, with great communication from Jean. Would book again in a heartbeat. We had a truly lovely stay at the Cottage! The place had everything we needed and more; beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, and incredibly well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden looked absolutely stunning, it was such a shame we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it properly due to the weather. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach and beautiful walks, ideal for taking the dogs and kids out first thing in the morning. One of the real highlights for us was the bed, honestly, it might be the most comfortable one we’ve ever slept in! All the information provided was super clear, and both Jane and Joyce were incredibly quick and helpful in responding to any questions we had. We truly loved the place – it made our visit feel extra special.

Lovely renovated building with plenty of character. Central position to Berwick with everything in walking distance. Surprisingly quiet for its location in the city center and next to harbour. Everything in house we needed and no issues. Jon was great at communicating everything we needed and very helpful.

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

My family had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Charles’ home. Kenneth supported a very smooth check-in and was super friendly and responsive. I really appreciated that the hosts were very responsive and also transparent about the feasibility of staying in their home with a baby. The home itself was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and was very peaceful to relax while watching the river flow by. We will be back!

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Anstruther over Hogmanay . we were a party of 2 couples and found the house to be a good size for us. As other viewers have said the bedrooms being on different floors affords a good degree of privacy. 2 of the bedrooms have lovely sea views. The living area is comfortable and cozy but might be a bit of a squeeze for 6 adults. the location is excellent for the fife coastal walk and there are plenty of good local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend the tall ship with the only proviso that the many stairs would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely little cottage to enjoy the beautiful North Queensferry. The house is beautifully presented and really feels homely and welcoming. The bedrooms are great sizes and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed at this slice of heaven with some friends and it was the most charming and beautiful cottage. Plenty of space for us and in a beautiful location of St Abbs. Debs was so helpful and has decorated the cottage so beautifully you feel straight at home. It really is the most charming place and was great weekend gateway.

Maria's place exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pristine and cozy getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how immaculate and well-kept everything was. The cleanliness was top-notch, making the space feel fresh and inviting. The coziness of this place was truly exceptional. The decor was charming and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Maria was incredibly hospitable and responsive.

Lou and Claire’s apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay in Edinburgh - an excellent location for transport and restaurants. It’s in a pretty area out of the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions which suited us perfectly - felt like we had a real taste of what it’s like to be a local. Parts of the apartment are small such as the bathroom and kitchen but completely equipped with anything one may need…also provided great inspiration on how to make good use of a small space! We recommend staying at Lou and Claire’s apartment!

Lovely well kept cottage in a lovely little town. The decor is subtle and charming. The house is equipped with everything, lovely hot shower, good central heating and plenty of sunlight. The bedding is great quality cotton.The whole house is very clean.

We enjoyed staying at Brian's for a few nights while in Edinburgh. The place was very clean, neat, with lovely bathroom, kitchen organised with everything you need, big living rooms, and dining space. It was very easy to park and the instructions we received were very clear, the place easy to find and the bus station that took us to the centre just 2 minutes away. Brian was communicative, friendly and our stay was so nice that we think we'll return there again when you we back to Edinburgh. Thank you very much. A real pleasure!! 5 stars!!

Jon and Lindsey’s lovely flat was the perfect base for us to explore Culross from. It was very clean and cosy, with wonderful views from the kitchen/living room. Everything we could have needed was provided for us. Jon was extremely helpful and understanding when we had to cancel our original booking due to a storm. Communication throughout our stay was great, we would definitely return.

Lovely quiet, safe location. The apartment was spotlessly clean throughout and well presented with supplies of anything you might need during your stay. Excellent communication from Victoria. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

A lovely place to stay on the outskirts of the city with handy transport links. The place was clean, tidy and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend.
