The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

Great location. Easy check in. Very clean. Only downside was the room was warm and window only opens so far for safety reasons.

This place is a hidden gem!! The little apartment is absolutely beautiful! You enter and feel right at home! The bed is amazing, kitchen had everything you need and is very well equipment if you want to prepare your own food!The bathroom is small, which doesn’t matter as everything you need is there! The small town Culross is absolutely beautiful! You feel set back in time! We tried the local pub, one of the coffee places and did some shopping in their local makers shop- all amazing! Everyone is super open and friendly! And dogs! If you love dogs, they are everywhere! ❤️ I highly recommend this place- if it’s a weekend getaway just to enjoy this little town, or if you wanna explorer around ( which we did) as the whole area is beautiful and loaded with history!

Family trip from NY, scouting for universities for our daughter. Our other daughter studies at Uni of Edinburgh, and lives on Simpson Loan - so we knew location was very quiet, safe but walkable to the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh within minutes. The apartment was superb. Clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed. Sharon was easy to deal with - flexible on arrival time to meet our changing travel needs. Can’t recommend this apartment enough. Wanted to come back for 2 nights in early July for our daughter’s graduation, but it’s a 3 night minimum :- (( Simply loved this place, staying at the hotel across the street won’t be the same!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

the accommodation was clean and exactly what was described and walkable to Colgate 20 minutes. lots of useful shops and restaurants around. A bit pricey but a great location

Absolute home from home. This was one of the nicest Airbnb we've stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few now! Gorgeous apartment; funky, quirky, cosy, clean, well laid out, so comfortable (sofas and beds!), we could have stayed another 2 nights! Leith Walk is 10 minutes away on foot, and what a cracking place. Loads of lovely places to eat, nice bars, grocery shops, the transport links are ideal; the trams literally pass right along this route and take you straight into the heart of Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks to Gary for providing such a lovely place to stay :)

Maria's place exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pristine and cozy getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how immaculate and well-kept everything was. The cleanliness was top-notch, making the space feel fresh and inviting. The coziness of this place was truly exceptional. The decor was charming and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Maria was incredibly hospitable and responsive.

Had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in a fantastic location — close to everything you need, including supermarkets, fast food spots, and cozy pubs. It’s the perfect base for exploring Edinburgh if you’re looking for a more local, authentic experience. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment set amongst lovely row houses that’s just a short walk from the city center and the harbor, right next door to the Royal Botanical Gardens.

The flat is very comfy. It was clean and the shower is great. The location very good, with grocery stores, restaurants and other services at short walking distance. Liz is a very nice host. Communication with her was great. I highly recommend her flat!

we have just spent nearly 2 weeks in this lovely 2 bedroom apartment. we felt right at home. it was quiet at night so we slept well. the kitchen had all we needed to cook. the place was clean. the view of the sea was beautiful!!! my van was parked safely over the road. no issues with finding a space. town was a few minutes walk and there were plenty of places to eat. and the host was friendly and responsive.

We had a wonderful and restful stay. The location is perfect, remote enough to feel like a proper country get away but close to popular places like Holy Island and many beaches. The place is exactly like the photos, very nicely decorated, private with plenty of light and countryside views. Both double bedrooms have their own bathroom, comfy mattresses, and extra soft luxury linen. The single bedroom has no window or bathroom so bear that in mind if you need the extra room. But for two couples this is an ideal place. Kitchen has everything you need, lovely and open plan, a nice welcome hamper. Living room is comfy with Games, TV with netflix etc. Would happily stay again!

Duc’s home was extremely tidy and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It was also very convenient, with a bus stop just 3–4 minutes away and shops, takeaways, and a bar close by. Duc is a wonderful host. We absolutely adored Cookie the dog — she was so friendly! Our 10-day stay in Edinburgh was wonderful, and we would definitely love to book this place again.

Fantastic property. Luxury feel. Top end furnishings, appliances. Bed felt like a cloud! Everything you need is there. Welcome drinks & snacks a lovely touch. Not far to find local food shops, takeaways, places of interest. Rosslyn Chapel a must see.

Nous avons passés deux jours chez Jamie et nous sommes très satisfaits. Ma fille de 6 ans était très contente de trouver des jouets dans la chambre d’enfants. Il y a un bus à proximité de la maison pour visiter Edimbourg. La maison est super et il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Très propre et sympa ! Merci Jamie

We booked Susannah's property to host a family get together with people travelling from as far away as New Zealand. The property turned out to be perfect for the 5 of us but would have been just as perfect for 8. This property is clearly someone's home, it has a completely different feeling to many of the antiseptic business properties that we have stayed in before and I felt this was entirely positive. The decor is great and the facilities even better with 3 large bathroom's offering great showers. The location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh as it was well served by the excellent bus system with the tram available for longer journeys. It would also be walkable to the centre of town but we chose to save our energy for exploring. We never failed to find parking nearby when required but chose to leave our cars in the free park & ride carpark that was accessible via a £2 bus. I cannot recommend this property too highly and would definitely return again if numbers required.

The Edinburgh Townhouse was a wonderful place to stay! Iain was very helpful and quick to respond to messages leading up to our stay. Iain was also amazing recommending local and sightseeing places to visit in Edinburgh. Check-in details provided were clear and the accommodation was brilliant, spacious, and all facilitates were excellent. Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

Ishbel has such a big heart, and it is difficult not to see it in all the small things the flat has. She is super caring and supplies with everything one may need, even a bathrobe, shortbreads and tea. The location is great and the bed was super comfortable. The doggies deserve a separate shoutout, they are just so so lovely and cute ❤️ Cannot recommend enough Ishbel and her house, and truly looking forward to coming back soon!
