Great place to stay with a backyard perfect for doggos. Easy to find and would stay again.

This is a b&b but felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The room was spacious and the front deck was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the ocean views. Ling's breakfast was also delicious and very much appreciated.

Can not express in enough words how wonderfully tranquil this accommodation was. Exactly how it looks in the photos and precisely as described. It is incredibly peaceful, uniquely styled and delightfully different. Ms Ling has established an amazingly splendid BnB that has you feeling welcome from the moment you arrive. The room is spacious and the bathroom is lovely.. the bath tub alone is immense and one simply must have a bath once settled. Ms Ling is a warm hearted and truly welcoming host. Loved the stay here and would do so again.

Top of the Lake offers solid accommodation in a lovely setting very close to the lake. Our unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We only had 1 night at this B&B (last night). Ling met us on arrival with an umbrella because it was absolutely pouring rain. Everything was nicely presented and once we turned the heating on we were nice and cosy and warm. Everything in the way of amenities was supplied. The continental breakfast was sufficient with lots of choices of cereal, toast and fruit and everything is dairy free so we enjoyed our first Oat Milk Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. We had a beautiful stay at Kathryn’s air bnb. The bnb felt secluded and homey and has a beautiful view overlooking the bay. It’s just a short walk down to a small sheltered beach and also walkable into town. The BnB was as described with the listed amenities. Kathryn was a friendly and responsive host who gave detailed clear instructions on check in and check out and gave us our privacy throughout the stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our time staying in this clean, well-kept unit in a fantastic location, with stunning views of the sea. We really appreciated Bob's outstanding hospitality, sending us an extensive list of things to do around the area, and checking in with us once we arrived at the unit to make sure that we were settling in without problems. Fantastic experience overall!

A lovely stay at Bairnsdale and a great location for accessing the Railtrail. Joanne's place had everything we needed and the perfect place to relax after a hard day on the bike.

Easy access to Merimbula either by car or on foot. Lovely surroundings and outlook in a quiet spot. The property was impeccably clean and had all the amenities that I required. Five minute (if that) walk to the beach and an extra minute to the shopping area. I would highly recommend this property and if I go back to Merimbula or anywhere in the area I will definitely stay there again. Rgds Andrew

Jillian was a wonderful host; she very generously picked me up from the bus stop and gave me a tour of the town. True to its name, the accommodation was in a great position: in a private residential area, with idyllic views of the lake. Access to the centre and to the restaurants and shops is via a pleasant leafy trail just minutes from the accommodation. It links up with the the walking path along the lake with its beautiful views of the water, the birds and the boats. The accommodation is immaculately clean and cared for; we felt very much at home, and the beds were super comfortable. The master room has ample storage space, which the second bedroom needed to share, having less storage options. We appreciated the useful tips from Jill, regarding the best walks to do, and that there was a free courtesy bus with a pick up and drop off service for customers of the Metung hotel. We loved Tranquil Views and look forward to another memorable stay there when next in town.

This was my second time staying there, so I knew I would love it. We ended up with the water-facing view which was even better this time. We brought all the food we'd need and Kristen generously provided homemade granola, crackers and bread throughout our three days (and we had a teenager with us). Perfect weather meant we could get up with the birds, enjoy the water, go off and enjoy the koalas on the other side of the island (not to mention the kangaroos all around the property), which made for great days. Drawbacks to keep in mind: bedrooms are up a steepish flight of stairs and the bathroom, while functional is small and awkward (it was clearly an add-on from a different era). These were not dealbreakers for us at all - and this was true in the other unit there, so I suspected it was similar and came back anyway. The splendid outweighs the inconvenient by a mile.

We had a great stay at Jaye’s place. It was a bit larger than it looked from the photos.

Wow, this was the most beautiful little surprise Airbnb ever, on an island we didn’t know existed until a couple of hours before we got there. We booked last minute and felt so looked after and at home. Raymond island is so peaceful and Swan Cove is surrounded by nature and animals. Loved it all and hope we can make it back one day and have a kayak on the lake. Kristen is so friendly and super helpful and continuing on the tradition of hosting guests on this little island, which started in the late 70’s when the place was built by a German couple who ran it for many decades. It was great hearing this story and seeing some old pics. Really unique accommodation and experience. Love the vintage interior. Thanks so much Kristen
