One of the best Airbnb I have stayed! The house matches the pictures and description perfectly! the staff was amazing and always helpful! we got all the help we needed with shopping and organising tours to see the island! Definitely the place to stay in Vilanculos

This rental home is probably one of the most unique that we have ever experienced. Incredible natural beauty, gorgeous views, refreshing outdoor bathrooms, etc. Felt like we are in nature while having the luxuries of civilization. Truly a memorable stay. Dave and his crew are helpful and accommodating. If we ever get out to Tofo again, we would love to stay here for an even longer duration.

This was our second stay at Shangri-La, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Francine’s stunning villa is truly a gem, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again someday. Francine is an exceptional host - warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs. Shangri-La holds a special place in our hearts as the setting for so many wonderful memories. The villa itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with an array of amenities, making for an incredibly comfortable and hassle-free stay. The location only adds to its charm, offering a serene and almost magical atmosphere that makes it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning on the patio, swimming in the sea, or simply soaking in the tranquility, this place has a unique way of rejuvenating the soul. We can’t thank Francine enough for sharing her cherished family holiday home with others. Home away from home!

We had the most magical stay at Asvin’s villa. Waking up to such a breath taking view every morning was surreal. The villa is gorgeous and lived up to our expectations. Felt like we were at a hotel at times as cleaners came regularly and changed our sheets too! What a truly beautiful space, we shall definitely be coming back!

Le site est fabuleux !!! Le Lodge à la hauteur de mes espérances… Le personnel aux petits soins. Neree a organisé mes excursions et tout était parfait ! J’ai voyagé seule et je me suis tout le temps sentie en sécurité. La vue du Lodge est magique et la plage privée m’a séduite… Mes demandes ont toutes été entendues avec réactivité. Je recommande fortement et pourquoi pas à une prochaine fois 😉🤪🤩

We had the best time! Ruben was especially accommodating to our 18 month old with camping cot and baby chair. We really appreciated it!

Superbe séjour de 3 nuits ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Lala, qui nous a parfaitement expliqué toutes les fonctionnalités du bungalow. Et le spa ? un vrai bonheur après la plage ! De plus, situation idéale à quelques minutes à pieds de la plage et à 5 mn en voiture de tout commerce. La place de parking dans l'enceinte de la location est un plus ! Bref, excellente location que nous conseillons vivement.

Lovely house, great pool, attentive but unobtrusive staff including a great chef. You need some reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to get to the beach and other places but you wouldn’t get a place of this quality/price by the beach. Both our families had an incredible stay at Watamu.

Denise foi uma ótima anfitriã, demonstrando simpatia e gentileza em todos os momentos. Ela fez questão de nos esperar até às 21h de um domingo para nos receber pessoalmente. Na manhã seguinte, estava a postos logo cedo para nos levar para um tour de carro pelos arredores, incluindo supermercados e praias. A propriedade é maravilhosa, com uma vista incrivel para o mar. Ela está muito bem equipada, limpa e com todos os itens necessários para uma estadia tranquila. Consideramos o local ideal para casais ou para quem viaja em família por ser muito seguro e tranquilo.

10/10 would recommend. Pictures don’t do the place any justice. Julie was quick to respond to our texts. We have an awesome weekend. Only issue we had, was the wifi and the slow connection to the TV. We couldn’t watch a show without buffering but the wifi worked well on our cellphone devices.

Let me say the place is beautifully situated on the beach with a excellent view. The house felt like a luxury beach hut with beautiful infinity pool. We enjoyed the bar and the bbq area. The additional pool house was perfect for my adult child to be close but separate. We saw so many beautiful little creatures and plant species it was amazing. Our daughter enjoyed the pool almost every morning and built sand castles on the beach. The kitchen and bar were completely equipped and having a water dispenser was great felt like home! Corrine and Brenda were great friendly and responsive to any issues. Thanks for the Samosas Brenda they were a delicious welcome snack to Mauritius. Loved this place and would definitely recommend. We loved staying at Fleur’s place! The photos don’t even do justice to what an incredible view of the Nile it has right outside. We came with kids who loved playing out on the patio and exploring outside. Fleur was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. The only thing to consider is that both this weekend and in my experience with other places along this road, it has a tendency to get treacherous during rainy season. Our timing was unlucky (and not at all the host’s fault!) as they’d just grated the road on a rainy day, but the upkeep on this particular road out of Jinja is often not great.

Beautiful ideal picturesque place to stay if you are in the lowveld. Tamar was an amazing host, responsive and proactive. We felt right at home and we're offered to pick vegetables for ourselves from the garden. I highly recommend this place if you want to be unconventional staying in a hotel room and want to be in nature.

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Jeder der in dieser Gegend ist sollte in diese Unterkunft kommen. Die Aussicht war unglaublich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr privat. Die Begrüßung war super freundlich und es gab sogar einen Imbiss der für uns vorbereitet wurde. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und wären gerne länger geblieben. Toller Ort!!!

This surpassed our expectations. It's a very tranquil and beautiful spot; the river by the collage is stunning, and the host was extremely helpful when we got trapped in the mud. Whatever you do, stay a day longer. You will regret not staying longer.

We had a great time at the lodge. The team was very friendly and the location is amazing. We would definitely come back. There is also a very small shop in the village 5 minutes away by foot, where you can get some groceries, which was nice and run by very friendly people. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area, sitting on the terrace and the beautiful river nile.

Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and cozy cabin retreat in Jinja. Comes with a well-equipped kitchen, beautifully maintained garden, camp fire site, and just a short walk to the Nile. Klint, his family, and the caretakers (including the wonderful dogs) were friendly and responsive hosts.

Authentic cabins in the middle of trees, 5 mins from the Morne's public beach. A good way to reconnect with nature. We were greeted in the morning by a friendly camel and donkey, which our kids absolutely loved.
