Great, clean cabin on a nice bay on Oxbow Lake. The cabin is secluded and an overall great experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, beautiful area! I will definitely be staying there when I work in Tomahawk again...maybe a couple extra days to enjoy the area. Loved it!

We loved this stay! Such a great blending of up north woodsy but with the conveniences of home. With an 8 mo old baby and a couple toddlers, the multi level was a perfect set up for quiet nap times with little things like room darkening shades that made it so easy. Everything was clean and cheery and we loved it so much. We’d be back if our family wouldn’t be outgrowing it! Jodi communicated promptly and allowed us to extend our stay last minute. Highly recommend!

overall a good stay. I prefer white towels over black ones. sheets were dark brown, I prefer white. water comes from well and is brownish in color due to iron. there are no hooks to hang towels. also nowhere to hang clothes. bathroom sliding door has no handle. freezer was not cleaned. There was plenty of coffee.

Beautiful cabin with plenty of space. We would absolutely stay here again. The host was responsive and clearly answered all our questions so we knew what to expect. Our only noted challenge was backing a 44 foot race trailer into the driveway with fresh snow, but with some effort we got it in there! Surroundings are stunning, would love to see this place in the summer!

We had a great time at the cabin! Six of us stayed and it had beautiful scenery and a warm home style feel overlooking the lake! It was a great place to stay and get to see old friends! We loved it and the host was very friendly even letting us check in early if we wanted and would have let us check out late but we didn’t arrive until the later evening and had to depart earlier then the check out, Dawn was very accommodating and friendly! Thank you for the hospitality!

A very nice place to stay, this is my new favorite on the lake and we have stayed at quite a few places on lake gogebic.

Beautiful huge cabin on the lake! Comfortable bed and linens. Aaaand pet friendly. My little family and I really enjoyed our time in Iron River and did a lot of exploring. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped save our weekend.

Mark & Wendy's cabin was exactly as pictured - cute & cozy! They were extremely responsive hosts and gave us great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area. I was curious if the cabin would be covered in dog hair/smell since they are allowed (which was wonderful for us, as we brought our puppy), but there were no signs of dogs other than some chewed up furniture. The lake access will be especially wonderful in the summer. We'd definitely stay there again!

Felt very lucky to find this place. Thank you to Jen and her family for providing such a great space at a price manageable for even a single person to stay. I especially love the organic farming practices, and how she carried that mindset into the guest space. From the organic soaps to the high quality linens, she had it covered with a very holistic feel. Looking forward to more stays at Jen’s!

Loved our couple days at Mark & Wendy’s! Such a unique little place and beautiful surroundings. So happy that they accommodated our two pups as well. We’ll definitely be back when the weather warms up a bit!

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

Beautiful, quiet place to get away from the city. We went kayaking, had a bonfire, watched movies, visited a friendly local bar, had large amounts of ice cream and visited Minocqua. We saw a bald eagle in a tree above their dock by the water!

We always enjoy our stay at Susan’s. Her place is very spacious and we always enjoy our visit. The kids love checking out the lake! We enjoy our trips to Eagle River and St Germain for fun activities. Thank you for hospitality! 😀

Rich and Kitty have a wonderful place on Anvil Lake. It’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to get away and you’re only 15 minutes away from downtown Eagle River.

We had a very cozy, peaceful stay the Trinity Cabin! Crystal is very friendly and left some surprises for our pup! The cabin is better than pictures make it look, the gated deck was a huge plus for our dog so he could hang outside with us and still be secure. It is a very secluded area, if that’s what you are looking for. Make sure to check out the stars overhead at night. Oh, and I would recommend bringing groceries up on the way since there aren’t many options for food once you’re up there. Easy driving access to nearby hiking trails- which was the reason for our visit. We really enjoyed our stay! Beds are comfy. Hope to return for a snowy winter visit for cross country skiing.

This place is a hidden gem! Perfect place to relax and unwind. The lake and house is beautiful. Dan is very responsive. The cabin is so cozy and cute! Perfect location

We had an amazing weekend in this special little spot! The house is cozy and tucked away in nature, with a beautiful lake right behind it that looks like something out of a movie. The sunset over the water was absolutely unforgettable — one of those moments that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and just be grateful. It was the perfect way to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with each other and the peaceful surroundings. I was also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches throughout the house — there were basic hygiene items available, including feminine pads, a first aid kit, and in the kitchen we found coffee, sugar, oil, and spices for cooking. Everything was prepared with so much care. Highly recommend for anyone looking to rest, unwind, and enjoy some quiet beauty.

This cabin is definitely cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom has all amenities you need (shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer). There was fresh coffee beans and grinder to make the best cup of joe every morning! The bed was very comfortable as well. At the time of our visit there was construction (not active) at the property entrance which made for a messy driveway. We were made aware and knew to navigate through this upon arrival. This would not deter me from utilizing this property in the future. We truly enjoyed our time!

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!

Nicely situated house. Close to Win Man cross country ski trails as well as several hiking/snow shoe trails including Porcupine Wilderness state park. The house was clean and the kitchen had most everything you need. Worked out well as a base camp for our group. Appreciated that it was dog friendly! Would definitely stay again.
