The ginger house is a perfect place to explore Stirling in between the town center and the Wallace monument. It was cosy and we got to meet our lovely hosts (which now rarely happens with airbnb what with all the keyboxes!). We warmly recommend to anyone who prefers an genuine experience to an impersonal hotel room.

Fantastic stay. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub was great and the garden was peaceful. Everything was spot on and communication was great! Will be back!

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

A well located property with a great view and easy driving distance to Aberdeen

Excellent and roomy apartment directly across from Edinburgh Castle - good location for accessing all the central points in Edinburgh. Location was on the western end of the Royal Mile - easy to get to the center of town but far enough away to not have too much noise from the street at nights. Comfortable beds, immaculate cleaning, and friendly check in. Thank you, Emily, for hosting us.

We would 100% choose to stay at Dave’s place again. The location absolutely can’t be beat and looking out the bedroom window to see Edinburgh castle never stopped being amazing. You’re close to all the typical tourist spots and it’s easy to quickly get to everything without a vehicle. The apartment was clean and well-furnished with thoughtful touches like snacks and coffee, along with plenty of games and activities if you’re traveling with young ones and need a little down time. Dave was also very responsive and helpful by letting us drop our bags early and recommending the cafe across the street until we could check in (which he also was able to get us in earlier than expected.) Perfect place to stay to visit one of the most beautiful cities!

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. The photos really don't do the property justice; so light and airy yet still comfortable. Bags and bags of character; all furnished to a very high standard. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, like phone chargers and adaptors in all the rooms in case you have forgotten anything, and a stash of Tunnocks Teacakes by the kettle! We booked the property as we were visiting St Andrews for a family wedding and needed a four bedroom property, but this would very comfortably accommodate eight adults. Now looking for another reason to visit St Andrews just so we can re-book. Amazing.

Apartment was great, views of the firth and it's bridges stunning. Short walk to the great pubs and restaurants.

Our stay at Steve and Gillian's place was wonderful. They had thought of everything. The atmosphere and surrounds were relaxing, modern and well presented.Some breakfast starters were thoughtful and appreciated The outdoor area was also beautiful. My husband and I loved this Airbnb! We ventured all the way out to Deans Village and would take the bus multiple times right back (or as close as) Victoria street. We had drinks at all of the close pubs and food options were endless. The place was accurate of all the pictures in the listing and had plenty of space for us to hang out. Using the washer for our clothes was equally helpful as well. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Katrina is a wonderful landlord who prepared plenty of drinks and bread for us, making it feel very homey! It's just a half-hour bus ride from the city center, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making the location very convenient. Thank you, Katrina! If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely consider staying here!

Great place to stay right across from Arthur seat so we got to do that right way, it was right off the royal mile so we got to walk it from beginning to end. Lewis was a great host, super responsive and he is such a thoughtful host! Gave directions to get to his place in advance as well as recommendations!

From the moment I booked until the day we left, Jo was incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. Her breakfast selection was absolutely top-notch, a real highlight of the experience, and we truly lacked nothing during my time there. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it easy to feel right at home. I would highly recommend Jo’s place to anyone visiting the area, and I would love to stay here again if I find myself back in Scotland. Thank you, Jo, for a wonderful and memorable stay!

Die persönliche Schlossführung und die -geschichte hat uns sehr gefallen und beeindruckt. Das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet, die Heizdecke im Bett wohlig warm, das runde Badezimmer im Turm traumhaft, und das Frühstück im mondänen Esszimmer, mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten, liess nichts zu wünschen übrig. Griselda ist eine tolle Gast- und liebenswerte Gesprächspartnerin. Sehr gerne werden wir wieder im Schloss übernachten.

I don’t know where to start! Ruth and Graham had to be the kindest, courteous, gracious, helpful, entertaining hosts ever! I honestly missed them and their lovely home the minute I left and I wasn’t even heading home. The house is what every Scottish cottage in a people rural area that allows you to slow down and appreciate everything around you. I was extremely fortunate because I got to see all the newly born sheep. They are the best and you should stay at least 4 nights to really unwind. Thanks you two! 🥰 -Ness

Great one night stay. Charming little cottage! Quiet, peaceful, warm, has everything you need and a wonderful place for country walks among the beautiful farms. The breakfast was five star and Rosemary was a very friendly and kind host. will have to come back for a longer stay.

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

Wir haben uns bei Jane und John auf ihrer Farm sehr wohl gefühlt! Jane war super freundlich und sympathisch! Die Farm liegt auf einem idyllischen Hügel mit viel Natur rundherum, nicht weit von Aberfeldy, wo man alles findet, was man braucht. Wir würden auch wieder zu Besuch kommen! :)
