Overall a beautiful holiday let in beautiful Galloway. Have been visiting Galloway for 20 years and this is one of the nicest holiday lets we’ve stayed with the best view. Really clean and comfortable throughout.

Perfect get away with the partner and baby!Was a great location to get away and relax. Even though it was cold out, the cabin warmed up quick. The cabin has everything you need for a self catering break. We met the hosts briefly and they were very welcoming! We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly, the best air bnb we have stayed in. Incredibly picturesque, access to the beautiful gardens. Tessa was responsive and very helpful in many ways and all round lovely host! Can not recommend enough, felt comfortable and at home. 10/10 coming back!

We had a wonderful time! The accommodation was perfect with beautiful views into the garden where we spotted an array of birds, including a nuthatch and woodpecker! very comfy beds and everything we needed for our weekend break.

What a fantastic place to stay! The Cozy Cabin was just right for the two of us. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful, the wifi worked well and it was very well-equipped for making light meals. There was a lovely spot to sit outside for breakfast and watch the Highland cows in the adjacent field and the birds on the bird feeders in the garden. Natalie was a great host who had thought of everything we needed. Her recommendations for places to eat and drink in Kirkcudbright were spot on. Highly recommended all round. Thank you Natalie. We will be returning.

One very happy night’s stay, lovely cosy peaceful little cottage down a garden full of birds and birdsong 😊, yet only a few minutes from J45 on the motorway. We met Kelly and Liam, who are lovely and clearly go above and beyond to be perfect hosts. Lots of local sandstone in the buildings and garden, lending character and beauty. Facilities were perfect for our needs. Super clear instructions on everything, we read them and had a perfect stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this stunning location. What an amazing experience and we could not have asked for a better stay! Superb memories were created here for us and our dogs! A stunning walk through the woods and into Ballantrae, 7 miles there and back but loads of wildlife to see and we would recommend. Lindsay and Chris were exceptional hosts and just lovely people! We cannot think of a better break that we have all enjoyed and cannot wait to return!

I have no hesitation in saying this is a really lovely place and our hosts were really lovely people. We got a very warm welcome and good advice about where to eat etc. We were very comfortable in the accommodation, everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Mike H

We really enjoyed our stay at the Suffolk pod. It’s cosy and well designed, with a well equipped kitchen area (including kettle, microwave, hob & fridge). There’s a sofa, small TV, 2 chairs and a fold away table, plus an electric heater that’s very efficient. The bed is in its own little nook which is very sweet. Bathroom has an electric shower & heated towel rail, and there’s a hairdryer provided. It doesn’t feel cramped and is a great location for a little romantic getaway. Would stay again!

Absolutely divine experience with Pod on the Pond! Mark&Julie are really great, kind and just so easy to communicate. Their listings are simply fantastic and their whole gardens and the pond are outstanding. We went there to relax and to break from a city living and it gave us much more we hoped for. From their beautiful private gardens to the walking labyrinth -really cute add on, to seeing cows and sheep, to never ending duck chatter and beautiful bird singing, it takes you out of stress immediately. I would 100% recommend and I can see myself coming back! Thank you Mark&Julie for a wonderful weekend! ❤️

Jo’s place is brilliant. A beautiful, peaceful getaway in a picturesque part of the world. The pod had everything we could possibly need and it was awesome to have use of the summer house in such beautiful weather. Jo is a tremendous host and is a thoroughly friendly, helpful and kind soul with stories aplenty. She always made us chuckle in our interactions and her faithful doggie companions Murphy and Mila were gorgeous too. We’ll definitely be booking again if we return to Dumfries and Galloway!

Myself and my partner absolutely loved our stay here. It had everything you needed for a peaceful get away and had all the facilities needed. It was so peaceful and just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend.

If you are a nature lover looking for a very quiet and private spot with breathtaking views and nature on your doorstep then look no further. With running hot water and gas powered fridge and hob the modern coms are not short too. Kite, swans, geese and other birds regular flying over and sheep with lambs trotting about if you visit in spring. The loch is a short walk away if you are a fan of cold water swimming. There is lots to do in the area 30-45 mins drive too, whatever the weather and for families too. The dark skies at night are special and if you fancy some stargazing the spot is priceless. Debbie is a great host, responsive, helpful and pragmatic. We will be back as soon as we get a chance! Pure dead brilliant!

We spent the Easter weekend in the shepherd's huts at this beautiful farm, and it was absolutely perfect. The hut was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the privacy – it felt like our own peaceful little escape in nature. The owners have clearly put so much love and care into creating this place, and it really shows. The surroundings were stunning, and every detail was just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway – highly recommended!

Lovely stay at The Eden hideaway. We loved the setting, beautiful views. Peaceful and relaxing. We ventured to the recommended pub in the village and it was fantastic (be aware it only opens wed-sun)

We had lovely stay at the Shed! Very peaceful surroundings and lots of fun for our little daughter with all the musical instruments! You could definitely stay for a few days as it has well equipped kitchen, tv, board games etc., Bluetooth music speaker and the log burner is great addition for evenings with a glass of wine!
