We had a very short but sweet stay in Baltyboys Lodge B&B. My partner and I were attending a wedding nearby and were very pleased to have found this gem. It has been years since we've stayed in a B&B and Catherine reminded us of what a pleasure good ol Irish hospitality is. Nothing seems like a problem to Catherine when it comes to her guests (even at silly o'clock in the middle of the night) it seems like she goes above and beyond for everybody she welcomes into her home. Cozy, charming, very comfortable and peaceful surroundings that can't be beaten. We will recommend Baltyboys Lodge B&B to anyone visiting the vicinity.

What a beautiful home in such a lovely area. Helen is such a lovely lady and gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Put the kettle on as soon as we arrived and we enjoyed lovely soda bread and cake. Lovely room , warm comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. The perfect B&B if you have a wedding to attend at Ballymagarvey. Directly across the street. Clean, comfortable, and extremely accommodating. Anne is a gem and all you could as for from a host. Great fry up the night after drinking and dancing. Can't recommend highly enough!

Had a lovely time, quiet spot but still close to the town and train. Highly recommend!

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie's stunning house. Marie is very warm and welcoming and you do feel like you're a guest in her home. The room was lovely and comfortable with good wifi and bathroom right next door. Only a short ten minute walk into the local village where you can get a meal or coffee. Also walkable to Powerscourt and the gardens. You will also meet Bailey, the adorable golden retriever...just to mention that Bailey likes hot buttered toast as I do :-) Overall, excellent and would highly recommend as a place to stay.

A gem of a place to stay, close to the sea and easy access to DART rail service. Cathy & Tony were the perfect hosts, such warm hospitality Tony you are a wonderful raconteur with a wonderful sense of humour! I would definitely stay here again 10/10 Thank you both again for a fantastic stay!

Teresa und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele Tipps gegeben und unseren Aufenthalt sehenswerter gemacht. Außerdem wurde uns Angeboten, dass die Handtücher öfter ausgewechselt werden können. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und es wurde stets aufgefüllt, wenn was leer wurde. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

By far the best place I have ever booked on Airbnb, Max runs his place like a 5 star hotel I would recommend this place to any one hoping to get a good place for a few nights in Dublin. The host really goes above and beyond to be accommodative.

Mary was a super host: extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. Her home is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and our bedroom was very well presented and comfortable. We enjoyed eating our continental breakfast in the sunny dining room which looked out onto the garden. Mary’s homemade soda bread was freshly made and still warm. A delicious treat!

This is a great spot to stay just outside of Dublin if you’re looking for a quieter and cheaper area. The room and house is very clean and the provided breakfast and snacks are very good! The room is quite small and doable for two people but better suited for solo travellers. There’s also multiple rooms on each floor with a shared bathroom per floor. Overall great stay for the price and would recommend.

I had a brilliant stay with Tereasa and Hughie. They’re exceptional hosts who make you feel instantly at home. The house and rooms are beautiful, with a peaceful back garden that's perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a Nespresso machine and a great selection of cereals, breads, and spreads. The property is located in an affluent Dublin neighbourhood, with plenty of great pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops within easy reach. Getting into the city centre was quick and straightforward. Overall, Tereasa and Hughie went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be booking with them again next time I’m in Dublin.

Staying with Albert highlighted the biggest differences between staying at a hotel and an Airbnb with an attentive and caring host. We weren't just another paying customer. He was helpful with local recommendations on many subjects, chatty if we wanted but was never invasive and when my husband split his jeans he actually had a needle and thread. My husband also had planned to shop for a high visibility vest while there for an ultra race but Albert had one he could borrow. The comfiest bed we stayed in our whole two week trip. Breakfast was simple but quality and generous. We loved having the privacy of the whole upstairs. The view from the bedroom was beautiful, since his house sits at the end of a cult de sac. Very quiet. This was a top notch find!!

Lovely,peaceful setting at top of the house.We had everything we needed and a comfy bed. Zita and her mother Jo were wonderfully warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. Would book again should we be travelling this way again. Great craic and scones.

Notre séjour chez Deirdre et Peter était absolument parfait. Des hôtes d’une gentillesse incroyable, très accueillants et bienveillants. Ils sont aux petits soins tout en laissant une certaine liberté et tranquillité aux personnes qu’ils accueillent. Petit déjeuner complet, un petit coin de paradis charmant et paisible que nous recommandons à 3000%. Encore merci et à bientôt :)

Na de drukte van Dublin waren we toe aan een paar rustige dagen aan het strand. Het huisje van Katy was precies dat. Er zijn een paar pubs, verder lekker rustig en gemoedelijk. Met de auto rijd je makkelijk naar nabijgelegen stadjes, maar er gaat ook een bus. Katy is erg vriendelijk, haar huisje is daar een reflectie van.
