Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon thats great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening.

I loved it so much I decided to build Hawk's Hollow (an homage to the resident Red-shouldered hawk who resides here), as place for others to experience its magic. Expect to be greeted by Painted buntings or Cardinals whistling each morning and to soak up Vitamin N(ature). May a stay here bring you connection, peace and love 💕

This cute cabin is nestled on the back corner of the 17 acre McRanch property. The interior cabin is equipped with one Queen bedroom, a Flex room that contains a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed underneath, a reading loft (accessed by a ladder), one bathroom with a stand up shower (no tub) and a fully equipped kitchen with an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser, and stackable washer/dryer.
