With all the amenities of a 5 star bedroom, a large freestanding bath on the second floor with a small balcony with views to the stunning countryside it does indeed feel like a fairytale just remember to bring your favourite bubbles...

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the beach and a 2-minute walk from quality restaurants, cafes and other amenities. There is free street parking by the apartment.

Within a few miles, you have the market town of Haddington and to the North the beautiful seaside town of North Berwick. The nearby coastline has numerous world class golf courses, walking routes and amazing beaches. Drem or North Berwick railway stations are closest.

The cottage has benefited from a complete refurb in 2020 and an enclosed private garden. We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.
