Really enjoyed our stay here, remote place and a lot of privacy. Cabin was very nicely decorated, really loved the Easter theme. Host was lovely and really made sure we knew what to do and where to go

We had a fantastic weekend stay in this lovely little gem of a place, the scenery & peaceful surroundings really made it, the hot tub was a definite bonus. The local pubs were very friendly & fantastic food. I would highly recommend this place & can't wait to come back again.

What a great stay- myself and my bachelorette group stayed here for the weekend and it was beautiful. Very close to local shops and food. Easy to get an uber to the bars. And the host left the most beautiful flowers for our arrival. Very happy with our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

Absolutely wonderful location, with charming accommodation. The wood fired hot tub and natural swimming pool were idyllic. Olivia and Barney were lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely return!

Great location, nice small garden for the dogs to use. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything was clean and in good condition. Would be more than happy to go there again.

Barry was a great host and responded very quickly to all questions. The house was lovely and perfect for our family get together.

Ally & Simon are incredibly great & helpful hosts. Their accommodation is absolutely spot on, clean & modern. Beautiful garden and the whole house. Definitely recommend staying there, very close to the town centre, great location. Parking spot in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back. We needed a place to stay with our cat while our house was being rewired and redecorated. We are so glad we chose Portia cottage. The cottage is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well-equipped. The surrounding countryside is stunning. There are horses to the front of the cottage and sheep to the back, and a pheasant regularly visits the back garden. We really enjoyed our stay. The host Katherine is super-responsive and helpful.
