We had a lovely stay at Mike’s cottage in Corfe Castle - the location is charming and the cottage itself is delightful, clean and cosy. It is well equipped, in spite of the compact size, and Mike was a helpful and responsive host with our queries. A tip for anyone also interested in the shepherd’s hut - maybe check first with the host if it is available, as in practice this would need a separate booking.

A lovely little place to stay! We managed to book a last minute one night get away in the shepherds hut and it was a perfect choice for us. Hassle free booking with very good communication. A beautiful little hut in lovely surroundings. Easy to find and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The hosts were very welcoming as were the neighbours who owned the big garden/field opposite! Found a great pub (The Crown) in the village where we enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery! Overall a great overnight stay. Thank you!

We had an amazing one-night stay at this Shepherd Hut with our puppy. Everything exceeded our expectations. The place is exactly as described and matches the photos perfectly. It was extremely clean, and the washroom facilities were spotless with hot water available even at midnight. Arriving late was no issue, which was very convenient for us. In the morning, we enjoyed delicious homemade bacon and egg baps along with fresh coffee. The site itself is beautiful, featuring a dedicated dog field at the end, which was perfect for our pup. The location is also great, being just a short distance from the seaside. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on New Year’s Eve and was welcomed with a glass of wine and nibbles. Lovely cosy place to stay with a 10 month old baby and a dog. Pub is 10 min walk and lovely surroundings for dog walks. Will definitely return again and the bad weather didn’t dampen our stay.

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

We booked a couple of days for my mums birthday. Tracys communication was brilliant throughout and we arrived to a birthday banner and balloons in the hut. This place is so lovely we will def be returning, the goats are so friendly and were a real highlight, not to mention the ducks running past throughout the day. This is a peaceful getaway, in beautiful surroundings. I cannot fault Tracy at all she is a really lovely lady and on hand should you need anything. The hut was very comfortable and warm with beautiful views to wake up to, including goats at my window! Which I loved!! Overall a wonderful relaxing couple of days and we will def be returning. Eine der tollsten Unterkünfte. Wunderbar gelegen an der Jurassic Coast, ruhig und mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Kinder liebten den Pool, das Trampolin, die Playstation und die Fasane, die uns täglich besucht haben. Über den Coast Path erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Lyme Regis, sodass wir das Auto gar nie brauchten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

We made a very last-minute decision to book this Airbnb, and we’re so glad we did. Dan and Katherine were incredibly accommodating, getting everything ready for our arrival within just a few hours. They were also quick to respond to any questions we had. The Airbnb is located in a beautiful part of Dorset. It’s peaceful and quiet, and the hot tub overlooking the orchard was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. The sunsets are stunning, and thanks to the location, it stays light quite late into the evening. At night, the orchard becomes a fantastic spot for stargazing due to the lack of light pollution. The hut has everything you need for a short stay, including a cosy log burner. The BBQ outside is also a great feature which we really enjoyed. We’d love to stay again in future ✨

We had a lovely short stay at Kevin’s where we were looked after well and always felt very welcome and comfortable, the little oak lined beach is a real treat for some peaceful time if you go exploring. The farm itself has interesting buildings and nooks and crannies, with nature and pets never far away. We were greeted each day with a peacock call and a freshly cooked breakfast with fresh coffee-bliss! Thank you Kevin and team, see you again. Ian and Jo

My 6 year old son and I stayed here this week and it was absolutely perfect for us. Secluded and peaceful but also fun for my son who enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the firepit and watching the bats. Charlie was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. The location was great for us and we went to the beach as well as Longleat Safari Park and Marwell Zoo. We would definitely recommend it!!

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

My partner and I had a great few days in the shepherds hut with our dog. The location was perfect for all the outings we had planned and it was a cozy place to hide from the weather when it inevitably turned bad. What I hadn’t realised until we arrived was that there is a fenced area outside the hut so our dog could be kept safe outside, this was very helpful!

We had the most wonderful couple of days staying at Honey Bee relaxing in the peace and quiet. The views are outstanding, the Shepherds hut is beautifully made, with gorgeous interior and very well equipped. It is an ideal location with great local pubs in the surrounding villages also Bridport and West bay only 10 minutes down the road. We really wished we could have stayed longer, we can’t wait to return as soon as time allows!

Lovely stay in the Flosssy hut in the peaceful Dorset countryside. It’s not big but the hut has everything we needed and more. The decor and furnishings have been really well thought through and we were very comfortable with two of us and two dogs. We used it as a base to explore the area and would say a car is a must if you want to see local towns and sites.

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

A really lovely stay! Shirley was a wonderful host who meets you at the door and explains everything to you before leaving you to your own, peaceful space. The hut was kitted out with everything you could possibly need… cutlery, crockery, towels, heater and a fan etc. The location of the Shepherds Hut is great.. tucked away and private but also only a 5/10 minute drive from the beach and/or shops & restaurants etc. The only downfall was that there was no phone signal and no wifi as stated in the post - not anything to ‘mark down’ for but definitely something to be aware of when booking. A massive thank you to Shirley for a wonderful stay!

we had a great stay at Natalie's shepherds hut! it's exactly how it looks in the photo's and in such a lovely area. if you're looking for a place to unwind then you'll love it. Natalie was so helpful answering my many questions. We were lucky enough to hold some lambs which made the weekend even better. would definitely recommend!
