Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the place so much. The grounds and garden are amazing, spent a lot of time in the river with the dogs. The apartment had everything you need. Sheena and her husband so kind and friendly. Hope to be back again.

Very atmospheric old Manor House .Beautifully decorated to a very high standard . The town is lovely with some good restaurants.We loved it here ,a short stroll to the river was delightful.The Saturday market was a gourmets heaven. Tegan is a great host who provides a communal breakfast fit for royalty .

Excellent séjour dans ce gîte bien nommé ! Il y a d’autres espaces loués autour mais tout est fait pour avoir une intimité. Il y a une pergola en plus du parasol pour ombrager la terrasse. La piscine est très agréable : eau chaude pour se rincer ! La cascade tout à côté est magnifique. Le bruit de l’eau et le petit ponton privatif au-dessus de la Beune est un plus. L’endroit est idéalement situé : boulangerie à 2 min à pieds, restaurants, musées et marchés accessibles à pieds également. L’hôte est très réactif et sympathique, nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis. Encore merci pour cette très très belle semaine. Je recommande vivement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Gaby & Werner, qui sont des hôtes charmants ! Le gîte est confortable, propre et bien équipé. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse, de la grande piscine et d’un environnement calme et agréable. Et mention spéciale pour les 2 poules hyper sociables qui gambadent dans le parc. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir :)

Tom and Sieta's place is a lovely peaceful location on the river with lots of outdoor space and greenery. We stayed at the downstairs apartment - the private terrace was lovely and inside had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool. Better internal ventilation and information about the waste disposal system would have been helpful, especially as the municipal waste requires some kind of registration or app.

le logement est très bien placé, la vue sur la rivière derrière la maison est superbe. la terrasse , les chaises longues , les baignades., les sorties en vtt...tout était parfait. Nous y retournerons certainement De plus , Jean Michel est super sympa.👍🏠

From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.

Fantastic big house! A quiet place with a lot of privacy. also unexpected extra features like ping pong table, good audio system available via bluetooth and kitchen where everything is available including herbs and spices so that you can play your A-game in cooking :-) village Lalinde is only 5 minutes away and suitable for boulangerie or a nice diner.

This is a delightful property to stay in with fantastic garden and a lovely large pool area. Even in height of summer the apartment is cool inside and there is lots of garden seating & outdoor eating areas. Our teenagers adored the pool and easy access to the beautiful Dordogne river for impromptu paddle-boarding! The location is literally a few minutes walk to 2 fantastic family-friendly river-side restaurants and Pessac’s local shop. Cat was a super helpful host and lives in the adjoining property with her family, so is always on hand if needed. She will be also be offering retreats in 2025 - I can’t imagine a better location for one. We’ll definitely be back!

Comme l’année dernière, nous avons passé quelques jours très agréables en compagnie de notre fille et de notre chienne. Les hôtes sont charmants. Le logement est propre et tout équipé. Et l’environnement invite à la quiétude et la sérénité.

Your place was in the medieval village and near to everything. I have one arm and even though, I had no problem with the stairs.

Nous venons de terminer notre semaine de vacances dans le logement proposé par Paul & Elyn et ce fût une très belle semaine. Le logement, cuisine, accès piscine correspondent parfaitement à la description ainsi qu'aux photos. Merci Elyn et Paul pour votre bienveillance et gentillesse a notre égard.
