Alojamientos vacacionales en Doi Chiang Dao

Bougain Villas are in a large farmland area with animals grazing in fields adjacent. They overlook Chiang Dao mountain (when the mist allows 🙂), and another resort called Mountain View, which occasionally had music, though didn’t go on late. We were upstairs in No.5, and the room was very clean, tidy and comfortable - with free coffee pods, bottled water and noodle pots… a nice touch. We had a good size fridge, kettle, Nespresso style coffee m/c, dehumidifier, and mosquito nets around the bed - excellent. Any time we had issues, Aude was instantly available which made the stay even better - for instance, we had a bad ingress of ants nesting in the bathroom one night (fact of life in jungle), and she was round in an instant dealing with it. Externally, the shrubs and vines could probably do with a trim back (some of that was happening), as the villas are quite enveloped nowadays - but that’s only slight drawback we could see. Overall, a lovely place, well worth the money… thanks.

We’re so glad that we found this place on Airbnb! We had an incredible stay at this unique glamping experience a little north of Chiang Mai. The hospitality was unmatched, the host was very helpful and responsive in helping us find a driver and in planning a visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary near by. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the views were amazing, and the cafe at the reception was an added bonus! Definitely the highlight of our trip so far!

Emplacement absolument unique et enchanteur. Très relaxant avec les sons de la nature et la vue sur la montagne. L'hôte est très gentille. La douche n'était pas fonctionnelle et les couchages plutôt durs, mais c'était tout de même très agréable. Une belle expérience!

Tammy really went out of her way to make us feel like home in Chiang Dao. By the time we booked, she gave very detailed advice on where to tour for Chiang Dao and in Chiang Mai. She also helped us find the best elephant volunteer program to participate in! By the time we arrived, she connected us with the driver Kim, and also helped us call in massage lady service. The massage took place in the mid of a rice field, which was one of the best experience. Kim was also super nice to pick up us from the airport and send to elephant farm. The whole trip would be so different without Tammy and Kim!

Die Unterkunft war mega schön und traditionell. Es war recht abgelegen, so wie wir es wollten. Leider war Nook nicht immer da und wurde von ihrer Mutter vertreten, die leider nicht immer die gleich Freundlichkeit ausstrahlte, wie alle anderen. Zudem kam, dass Nook die einzige war, die Englisch konnte, was small talk oder Empfehlungen in der Umgebung schwierig gestalteltete, wenn sie nicht da war.

At this place you can experience the authentic Thai countryside life with the unique combination of a modern house on a big private and peaceful property with amazing views over ricefields, temples and mountains. Recommended for anyone who wants some days away from the city. I'll be back next year.

部屋は清潔で、立地も素晴らしかったです。 商店が少し離れているので水を十分用意してくれていたり、地元のコーヒーを用意してくれていたり、ホストはとても親切な対応をしてくれました。 窓やデッキからチェンダオ山と山の麓の大きな仏像を望むことが出来ます。仏像のお寺からは毎日心地の良い声明が聞こえてきます。自然豊かな環境で滞在をとても楽しむことが出来ました！
